Pharrell Williams has canceled this year's Something in the Water festival which was scheduled to take place between October 12 and 13 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. In a post on the official festival X account, Pharrell shared a statement explaining why he and the team thought it would be best to cancel and postpone the festival this year. With Virginia being his home state, he doubles down on wanting to give it his best, "Virginia doesn't deserve better, Virginia deserves THE BEST."
