Sources claim that New York City mayor Eric Adams will alter the city’s private-sector vaccine mandate “specifically for performers and athletes” effective Thursday, allowing unvaccinated athletes like Irving to play home games for the first time this season. The two previous-best-friends-turned-enemies and past training partners at American Top Team — Covington later moved MMA masters — addressed their beef on March 6 at UFC 272, where Covington won in emphatic fashion. There was a lot of bad blood going into the fight as well as after the match as Colby Covington’s heel antics insulted a lot of personal areas in Masvidal’s life, including his family.
