Nigerian music icon Davido has unveiled a captivating new single, “Be There Still,” a melodic fusion of Afrobeats and Amapiano that sets the stage for his highly anticipated fifth studio album, 5ive.
Produced by Marvey Muzique, DJ Maphorisa, and Black Culture, Be There Still sees Davido reflecting on his journey—celebrating the unwavering support of family while acknowledging the challenges that have shaped his path. The introspective track is the third single off 5ive, following the reggae-infused “Awuke” featuring YG Marley and the motivational anthem “Funds” with ODUMODUBLVCK andChike.
With 5ive set for release in April 2025, the album is shaping to be Davido’s most personal and thought-provoking project yet. The 17-track album follows the massive success of his 2023 LP, “Timeless”, which solidified his dominance in the global music scene.
