We’re nearing the end of June, which means the summer concert schedule is heating up, even if it doesn’t look quite like we planned.
Most live events and large gatherings remain in hold throughout the country due to the coronavirus crisis, leading artists to continue the trend of livestreaming shows to connect with fans.
With music venues still shut down from coast to coast, here’s your guide to the best live-streamed music content right now, for the week of June 22. As additional events are announced for the week, we’ll add them to this list.

June 23: Teddy Swims will kick off Cover Nation’s new livestream performance series Takeover Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. ET at Cover Nation’s YouTube and TikTok channels. Swims will perform a mix of covers and originals, followed by a fan Q&A.
June 24: Pearl Jam, Ben Gibbard, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Macklemore, Dave Matthews and more Seattle musicians are participating in the All in WA streaming concert to raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts across Washington state. The concert, which will air on the local NBC affiliates, begins at 10 p.m. EST, and can be streamed on Amazon’s Twitch channel. It will be available on Amazon Prime after it airs.
The Lumineers’ Jeremiah Fraites and Deadmau5 are teaming up with professional gamers Halifax and Hambinooo for Gaming 2 Give Back, a live stream gaming event. The event’s proceeds will benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign to end child hunger in America, with PUBG Corporation donating $1.00 USD for every unique viewer (up to $100,000 USD) across the broadcast. Every $1.00 USD donation will provide up to ten meals to children in need across the country. Tune in from 12-4 PT/ 3-7 pm ET on the Play With PUBG Twitch Channel here.
Aly & AJ will host a marathon 12-hour livestream event on YouTube from Wednesday (June 24) at 7:00 p.m. PT to Thursday (June 25) at 7:00 a.m. PT. The sisters will highlight 13 different charities for whom they will equally split all funds raised including GLAAD, Trevor Project, Color of Change, The Red Cross and Sierra Club. The stream will include a full band concert to kick it off and an acoustic set to finish. In between, guests will join via Zoom. Look out for a Phil of the Future reunion with Aly’s co-stars, a She-Ra scene reading with AJ’s co-star from the Netflix show, Joel Madden, karaoke with Hayley Orrantia from ABC’s The Goldbergs, and more. The 12 hours were recorded live to tape; the stream is never before seen. Finally, Aly & AJ will participate in a live chat with fans during the entire livestream.
Max will deliver a special performance to SummerStage audiences at 7:00 p.m. ET. The performance will premiere on the SummerStage YouTube channel.
June 25: Sting, Danny Elfman, Andra Day, Hans Zimmer, Alan Menken, Darren Criss, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Patti LuPone, Paul Williams, Harvey Fierstein, Marc Shaiman, Holly Hunter, Catherine O’Hara and many more artists and composers will take part in Soundtrack of our Lives: A Celebration for the Film & TV Music Community, an online benefit for MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. The one-hour program, which will highlight beloved film and TV music moments featuring more than 75 film and TV composers and songwriters, debuts at 12 p.m. PT on the here.
Governor’s Ball will be streaming sets here “From the Vault” beginning today. Travis Scott’s performance will air at 8 p.m. ET followed by The Black Keys at 9 p.m. ET.
Steven Tyler, the Dropkick Murphys, Common and many more are taking part in the Hot Stove Cool Music concert benefiting the Theo and Paul Epstein’s Foundation To Be Named Later, which provides opportunities for youth and families in Boston and Chicago’s underserved communities. Tickets are available for a $5 minimum donation at ftbnl.org. The event begins at 8 p.m. ET and will stream on YouTube.
Electric Blockaloo is set to feature a stacked lineup of more than 300 artists including Bedouin, Jauz, Justin Martin Nicole Moudaber, Getter, Gryffin, Tokimonsta, Walker & Royce and many more, all hosting stages built inside the game Minecraft June 25-28. The event is 18+, and those interested need to get on artists’ guest lists to get a link before the event.
Depeche Mode’s LiVE SPiRiTS 2018 show taped in Berlin will stream one time only on Live Nation’s YouTube channel. The stream begins at 3 p.m. ET.
Alex Ebert, Indigo Girls, Milck and more will perform during the “Vote Safe 2020 Live” livestream event at 8:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 p.m. PT. The event is a collaborative effort with organizations including HeadCount, Future Coalition, Vote at Home and The Andrew Goodman Foundation. RSVP here.
The Aces wrap up their “Let’s Do Better” digital tour with Jessica Jackson, the chief advocacy officer at the Reform Alliance, to discuss prison reform. The discussion begins at 4 p.m. ET on The Aces’ Instagram live.
June 26: Governor’s Ball will continue streaming sets here “From the Vault.” Post Malone’s performance will air at 8 p.m. ET followed by Major Lazer at 9 p.m. ET.
Travis Payne and Stacy Walker are commemorating Michael Jackson with The Drill 2020, a live dance event streaming on Veeps. Ticket are on sale now, and start at $20. (A portion of the proceeds will benefit the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.) The event begins at 9 p.m. ET.
Angélique Kidjo will provide an electrifying performance at 7:00 p.m. ET via the SummerStage YouTube channel.
The Immediate Family, which includes renowned musicians Danny Kortchmar (guitar and vocals), Waddy Wachtel (guitar and vocals), Leland Sklar (bass), Russ Kunkel (drums) and Steve Postell (guitar and vocals), will stream a live show from the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. at 8:30 p.m. PT. Fans can sign up for a free ticket day of show here. On June 27, Sweetwater Virtual GearFest will stream a performance workshop with the band recorded earlier.
Leveler, an online mutual aid tool designed to aid the redistribution of wealth in local communities, has partnered with streaming platform Shipping for a festival to benefit the Black Trans Travel Fund. The all-day festival will feature lectures from comedian Rachel Sennott, an activist working in Hong Kong, and more, as well as musical performances including a back-to-back DJ set by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat, ballroom icon MikeQ, pop experimentalists Okay Kaya and Xhosa, and more.
June 27: Miley Cyrus, Shakira, Justin Bieber and more will perform for Global Citizen and the European Commission’s “Global Goal: Unite for Our Future” concert. The event, which will shine a light on how the pandemic has disproportionately impacted marginalized communities, will air on NBC in the United States, and will also be streamed digitally. Josh Groban will relive his hits in an intimate career-spanning livestream concert, starting at 4 p.m. ET. Tickets for the virtual event will first go on sale June 1 at 4 p.m. ET exclusively for the Friends Of Josh Groban, while the general on-sale begins June 3 at 4 p.m. ET on JoshGroban.com. Ticketholders will receive an access code to the live stream that’s good for 48 hours at the start of the concert. They can also purchase limited VIP bundles with special merch, including an official event tee with $5 of each sale benefiting Josh’s Find Your Light Foundation.
The Roots Picnic 2020 is partnering with Michelle Obama to try to reach eligible voters and urge them to go to cast their ballots this year. Performers include The Roots, H.E.R., Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, G Herbo and many others. The event — in its 13th year — will also feature appearances by the former first lady, Janelle Monae, Kerry Washington, Tom Hanks, and more. The Picnic will be streamed on The Roots’ YouTube channel.
June 28: Richard Marx performs a solo live acoustic set from his L.A. home. During the 90-minute performance, Marx will perform his hits and fan favorites, as well as songs from his new album, Limitless. Tickets range from $15 to $130 (plus fees) at tourgigs.com; $5 from every T-shirt-ticket bundle will benefit No Kid Hungry. The livestream begins at 4 p.m. ET.
Live From The Lobero Presents: A Live Pay-Per-View Concert Featuring Kenny Loggins will take place at 7:00 p.m. PT. Tickets are $15, and proceeds will go toward keeping The Lobero running, as well as to the National Independent Venue Association.
