Keith Richards Confirms The Rolling Stones Won’t Tour in 2026: “We Can Talk Next Year”

Keith Richards Confirms The Rolling Stones Won't Tour in 2026: "We Can Talk Next Year"

The Rolling Stones have a brand new album on the way, Foreign Tongues. Despite that, fans hoping to catch the iconic rock band on tour in support of their new project shouldn’t hold their breath, as Keith Richards confirmed the band has no plans to hit the road in 2026.

“We can talk next year,” the guitarist told the Associated Press. “At the moment, we’re just sort of saying, we’ve finished the record… [and we’re] considering what to do after. Pretty soon, but not this year.”

The confirmation falls in line with reports from late last year that The Rolling Stones had scrapped a planned 2026 tour, apparently because of Richards’ unwillingness to commit to such a rigourous schedule.
