The US tour comes in support of their album Vol. II and follows a stretch of shows in their native Canada, which included a massively-attended set at the Montreal International Jazz Festival and their debut US show at Newport Jazz Festival. Now, the anonymous polka-dotted duo — known as Khn and Klek Poitrine — will bring their high-energy, minimalist math rock across the country for a lengthy run of tour dates. Along the way, the band will also appear at festivals like Iron Blossom, Levitation, Riot Fest, Corona Capital, and more.

Angine de Poitrine’s 2026 tour comes in support of their new album Vol. II, their April 2026 follow-up to Vol. I, both of which are now available on vinyl in a new 2xLP bundle. The microtonal math rock band, who remain anonymous, perform completely as a duo dressed in polka-dotted outfits and donning papier-mâché masks; so far, they’ve won praise from Dave Grohl, Jack White, Deadmau5, Sean Lennon, and many more.

The band was originally set to solely tour intimate venues for their inaugural American run, but due to demand, they added additional stops at larger theaters in several US cities going down in November and December. Their US tour kicks off with a pair of Denver shows on August 12th and 13th, followed by an appearance at King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s Field of Vision festival in Buena Vista, Colorado. They’ll keep the shows going with stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver before heading to Europe for another run of international dates.
After a handful of headlining shows and festival dates abroad — including Into the Great Wide Open, Manchester Psych Fest, and End of the Road — the duo will return to the US for performances on the east coast starting with a pair of New York concerts on September 9th and 10th. They’ll continue with stops in Elizabethtown (NY), Austin, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago, and Richmond. They’ll then head back to the UK and Europe for another round of headlining dates in October.
The US run picks back up on November 16th with a trio of sets at Brooklyn Steel in New York, followed by performances in Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, and Portland. Who Is Opening for Angine de Poitrine on Their 2026 Tour?
Angine de Poitrine are intent on celebrating their fellow Quebecois musicians and have enlisted a rotating lineup of Quebec artists as opening acts throughout the tour. Supporting acts include the psych rock group Population II, electronic singer-songwriter Annie-Claude Deschênes, the noise rock trio zouz, and Montreal guitarist, composer, and improviser René Lussier; also set to open select dates are the psychedelic outfit JJUUJJUU and the composer Dolphin Hyperspace.
