Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie has been linked with a move to Scottish outfit Rangers this summer.
According to Daily Mail, the 24-year-old striker is a target for the Scottish champions and he is valued at around £15 million.
The Blades have been relegated to the Championship and McBurnie might be looking to move on in search of regular football at a higher level.
A move to Ibrox would allow him to play in the Champions League next season and it remains to be seen whether Steven Gerrard’s side can pull off the transfer in the coming weeks.
The 24-year-old is a Rangers fan and he’s unlikely to object to a move to Scotland this summer.
However, the asking price could be a bit of a problem for the Scottish outfit unless they sell a key player like Alfredo Morelos.
The Colombian has been heavily linked with a move away from Rangers this summer and McBurnie could be his replacement.
Rangers will have to invest in a quality striker if Morelos decides to move on in the summer.
The Sheffield United striker has just one goal and an assist to his name in the Premier League this past season and it will be interesting to see how he performs in the Scottish League should the transfer go through.
