Donald Trump Says He Won’t Use Twitter Even if Elon Musk Unbans His Account

In what may be Donald Trump’s most popular action since appearing in Home Alone 2, the former President has pledged that he will not use Twitter, not even if the platform’s new owner Elon Musk unbans his account. As Trump explained to Fox News, the decision does not represent either changing interests or a newfound ability to shut the fuck up. No, after Trump’s permanent ban following the failed January 6th insurrection, the longtime Twitter addict did something rather committal while in the throws of his withdrawal, spending a small fortune on building his own social media platform. This new hangout changed almost nothing about Twitter’s design, except for using the Orwellian name TRUTH Social and instituting new rules preventing users from making fun of Trump. TRUTH Social laun...

Police Bodycam Footage Captures Alec Baldwin in Aftermath of Halyna Hutchins Shooting

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department has released police bodycam footage of the moments following the shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust. On October 21st, during rehearsals at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in New Mexico, a gun that had been inexplicably loaded with live ammunition went off. The film’s star and co-producer, Alec Baldwin, was holding the gun, though he has claimed that he did not pull the trigger. The bullet penetrated through Hutchins’ torso and buried in the shoulder of the film’s director, Joel Souza. Hutchins died after being airlifted to an Albuquerque hospital. Search warrants later revealed that the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, loaded the Colt .45 believing a real bullet was a dummy round. She then handed the weapon to first assista...

ANTHRAX Has ‘Great Songs’ For Next Studio Album: ‘I Think People Will Be Very Happy’, Says SCOTT IAN

In a new interview with Metal Injection, ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian discussed the progress of the writing sessions for the follow-up to 2016’s “For All Kings” album. He said: “We were just together writing. We have songs, and all I can say is we will get in the studio when we’re ready, which I hope is this year. I would love that. I think we’re getting there. I think we have great songs. I think people will be very happy. “Not to make a weird comparison, but it’s our third record back together with [singer] Joey [Belladonna]. Actually, it’s an odd comparison. I should just say it’s our third album since our kind of our reboot in 2010 and our third album back in the day was ‘Among The Living’. I’m not saying that...

IGOR CAVALERA Is ‘Very Proud’ That SEPULTURA’s Early Albums Are ‘Still Relevant To A Lot Of People’

Joining Max and Igor on the trek will be Mike Leon of SOULFLY and Daniel Gonzalez of POSSESSED. In a new interview with Ghost Cult magazine, Igor stated about how he plans to prepare for the tour: “Of course, it is quite a physical tour. The drumming on it is quite extreme from those two records, so I do have to do a lot of practicing. Luckily, I have a studio here [home] in London that I can come in and do some drumming and try some stuff. And of course we will be doing a bit of rehearsals for this with the whole band before the tour starts, but it’...

ANVIL’s LIPS: ‘We Got F***ed’ By The Music Business

Guitarist/vocalist Steve “Lips” Kudlow of Canadian metal legends ANVIL was asked in a new interview with the “Heavy Metal Mayhem” radio show if he thinks the band would still exist if it hadn’t been for the success of their documentary, “Anvil! The Story Of Anvil”. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Of course we would still exist. We existed before the movie for fucking 13 albums, man, so why wouldn’t we exist after it? “Actually, you know what’s really interesting, and this is something people should consider: if the band was shit and really was meaningless, the movie would never have been made to begin with,” he continued. “That’s the first step. And it was because of the music and the br...

New Footage Casts Doubt on DaBaby’s Self-Defense Claim in Deadly 2018 Walmart Shooting

Just months before signing to Interscope Records, now-embattled rapper DaBaby (born Jonathan Kirk) shot and killed a man named Jaylin Craig at a Charlotte-area Walmart in November 2018. Kirk claimed he was acting in self-defense, and proceeded to reference the shooting in many of his songs. New security footage obtained by Rolling Stone, however, casts a different light on the incident, appearing to show Kirk initiated the fight that led to the shooting. In the footage, Kirk enters the frame while sucker-punching Craig’s friend Henry Douglas. After the initial attack, Craig appears to reach for a gun in his waistband, but it’s unclear whether or not he put it back based on a subsequent angle of the altercation. The remaining footage shows Kirk pulling out his own gun before shooting and ki...

beabadoobee Shares Dreamy New Single “See you Soon”: Stream

beabadoobee has returned today with the dreamy new single “See you Soon,” the latest preview of our 2021 Rookie of the Year’s forthcoming sophomore album, Beatopia.  The artist otherwise known as Bea Kristi was inspired to write “See you Soon” after a particularly enlightening trip on shrooms. The song is a dose of utopian dreampop that embodies the refreshing epiphany of realizing that it’s okay to make mistakes, as long as you grow and learn from the outcome. “This song is about a really personal time in my life where I had to spend some time by myself to realize a lot of things and it’s one of the dearest songs that I’ve written,” Bea said in a recent episode of Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show. “It’s got this uplifting feeling and shows another side of what I do.” Advertiseme...

LION’S SHARE Releases New Single And Video ‘Throne Of Steel’

Swedish heavy metal band LION’S SHARE has made a new song, “Throne Of Steel”, available on streaming services and digital service providers. LION’S SHARE singer Nils Patrik Johansson commented: “This is a real favorite of mine. Pure metal from start to finish. In my book it’s our best song since ‘We Are What We Are’. Lyric-wise it’s also pretty interesting since it’s about the fact that everything seems to be a quest for power. To be on top of the throne. With that said, we’d better add that the lyrics were written before Russia invaded Ukraine.” LION’S SHARE guitarist Lars Chriss added: “I’ve always been a fan of lead guitar players like George Lynch and Randy Rhoads who play a little bit ‘outs...

He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET) “I got very sick. I was sick for five and a half weeks, but I was in the hospital for four days.” When asked if he thought he was going to get COVID-19, Erna, who is apparently unvaccinated, said: “I didn’t. I take really good care of myself. I’m a runner. I’ve boxed for over 20 years. And I’m onstage two hours a night. I have pretty big lungs, so even thinking if I was gonna get it, I figured I’d get sick like th...
