Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are among a group of stars from film, TV, sports and music who have signed up for a social media campaign to show support for Ukraine. The global social media rally supported by Global Citizen is taking place ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday, April 9) “Stand Up For Ukraine” pledging event in Warsaw, Poland. The event aims to mobilize significant funding to help vulnerable civilians impacted by the conflict and to support refugees everywhere. Earlier today, Ozzy and Sharon shared a video message calling world leaders to pledge substantial support to those fleeing the country. “We’re standing up for Ukraine,” Ozzy said in the video. “What we’ve seen is heart-wrenching, and we’re answering the call from those on the g...
DEF LEPPARD and LAST IN LINE guitarist Vivian Campbell says that he never thought he was going to die of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, with which he was diagnosed in 2013. For the past seven years, Vivian has been treated with medication called pembrolizumab, which became FDA approved in early 2017, at City Of Hope — one of the world’s leading cancer research facilities — in Los Angeles. Campbell, who receives pembrolizumab infusions roughly once a month, spoke about his cancer battle during a recent interview with the “Let There Be Talk” podcast, hosted by rock and roll comedian Dean Delray. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Other than that first couple of weeks when you first learn you have cancer, and it’s, like, ‘Oh my God. Life’s over...
“I wrote a verse for a song when we were playing kickball in P.E. last week,” says Lucia de la Garza, one of the four members of The Linda Lindas. Beside her, her bandmate Eloise Wong nods seriously. “Kickball is always very inspiring,” Eloise confirms. The Linda Lindas are made up of sisters Lucia and Mila de la Garza, their cousin Eloise, and friend Bela Salazar, whose ages range from 11 to 17. The budding punk group had a breakout moment in 2021 when a performance of their original track “Racist, Sexist Boy” exploded. Music is something they take seriously; even prior to their viral success, they’d secured an opening gig for fellow female punk rockers Bikini Kill, a show for which Amy Poehler happened to be in attendance. Poehler then recruited the quartet to lend a few tracks to h...
The man charged with shooting Lady Gaga’s dog walker during a brazen armed robbery in February 2021 was mistakenly released from custody on Wednesday. TMZ reports that James Howard Jackson, 19, was discharged from a Los Angeles county jail due to a “clerical error.” Citing law enforcement sources, NBC News reports that the mixup apparently occurred after Jackson’s initial charges were dismissed and replaced by a superseding grand jury indictment unsealed at a court hearing on Wednesday. However, the new charges were never updated in Jackson’s jail records, and he was “dismissed” from custody later that day. Jackson’s current whereabouts are unknown, and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information to contact its office. Advertisement Related Video On February 24th...
Breakout Atlanta rapper Latto just earned her first Top 5 hit with “Big Energy” earlier this week, and on Thursday night, she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play the song as part of a medley with “Sunshine” (sans guest stars Lil Wayne and Childish Gambino). Starting out with her self-described hood gospel “Sunshine,” Latto began the performance while seated to sing the chorus before getting up to rap her verse. After shedding her outside yellow gown, Latto brought out a pair of backup dancers to run through “Big Energy.” For most of the song, Latto just gyrated at the waist, but she picked up the pace toward the end and broke out some choreographed dance moves. Watch the replay below. First released in September, “Big Energy” — which shares the same sample as Mariah C...
German thrashers KREATOR have released the official music video for “Strongest Of The Strong”, the second single from their forthcoming fifteenth studio album, “Hate Über Alles”. The unrelenting mid-tempo track definitely lives up to its name and quite fittingly features renowned strongman and vegan advocate Patrik Baboumian who adds thundering backing vocals to the song’s anthemic chorus. KREATOR guitarist/vocalist Mille Petrozza comments: “‘Strongest Of The Strong’ represents every person on this planet who is striving to become a force of ...

Eventually, I decided to put a leash on my beloved black dog and we started howling together instead of barking at each other. That’s how ‘Loveletting’ was born.” “Loveletting” is now available across all digital platforms.
