And Just Like That… Renewed for Season 2 by HBO Max

Prepare for another entry in The Carrie Diaries because And Just Like That… has been renewed for Season 2 by HBO Max. The Sex and the City sequel series centers on original leads Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) as they face their 50s and all of the unforeseen trials and tribulations that accompany it. The series premiere boasted the most-watched debut episode for the streamer — in no small part due to the shocking twist that tanked Peloton’s stock. In an official statement, series creator and showrunner Michael Patrick King said, “I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just ...

Modest Mouse and Johnny Marr Are Working Together Again

It’s no secret Johnny Marr enjoyed his time in Modest Mouse from 2006 to 2009. In a new interview with Spin reflecting upon the 15th anniversary of We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, Modest Mouse’s frontman Isaac Brock revealed they’ve (remotely) reunited with Marr to work on new material together. “We’ve already started working on some stuff together,” Brock said. “We just finished a song, ‘Rivers of Rivers’ — actually I think it’s just ‘Rivers of…’ — but it’s in a pen-pal sort of way. International travel isn’t what it once was at the moment.” Marr added, “I played on that new Modest Mouse song, and there are a couple of other things knocking around that Isaac’s writing. As Isaac said, air travel isn’t quite what it was. But hopefully, when the world tilts back on its axis, I’ll be ...

Sandra Bullock Says She Regrets Making Speed 2: “I’m Still Embarrassed”

In her upcoming film The Lost City, Sandra Bullock plays a romance novelist whose go-to cover model (Channing Tatum) isn’t always too proud of his work. Bullock herself can relate to being ashamed of a past project: In a recent interview with TooFab, the actress admitted that she still has some regrets about signing on to the notoriously awful Speed 2: Cruise Control. The topic came up when the interviewer asked Bullock and her co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, if they had any past projects of which they were initially embarrassed, but eventually made peace with after seeing fans’ positive reactions. Radcliffe confessed that strutting around in a Hogwarts uniform on the set of Harry Potter didn’t always make him feel too chic, but he obviously grew to realize how spe...

Tucker Carlson Partied in Kid Rock’s “Cadillac Pussy VIP Room”

Tucker Carlson likes to play a moral arbiter on TV, but over the weekend the FOX News personality loosened his tie and had some fun in Kid Rock’s “Cadillac Pussy VIP Room.” On Saturday, Carlson paid a visit to Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk restaurant and bar in Nashville — yes, the same Big Ass Honky Tonk where an inebriated patron famously swung his colostomy bag at police. Per TMZ, Carlson spent some time in Rock’s salaciously named “Cadillac Pussy VIP Room,” before taking in a live performance from the Bad Reputation musician. Advertisement Related Video At some point over the weekend, Rock also sat down for an interview with Carlson and revealed that Donald Trump had solicited his advice on North Korea and ISIS. Meanwhile, Carlson lauded Rock for being “legendary” and “uncancelable.” The t...

EDDIE VAN HALEN Was ‘In A Lot Of Emotional Pain’, Says His Ex-Wife VALERIE BERTINELLI

Eddie Van Halen‘s ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli discussed her new book, “Enough Already: Learning To Love The Way I Am Today”, in a recent interview with the “A Spoonful Of Paolo” online talk show. Bertinelli reflected on the special connection she had with her late ex-husband, saying: “Ed and I had our relationship — ups and downs. We treated each other badly; we treated each other wonderfully. It was a very full 40 years. And we have an amazing son [Wolfgang Van Halen] that we both adored. I still adore him, and I know that Ed still does too. I get to be here for both of us, to support Wolfie.” Regarding Wolfgang‘s nomination for a Grammy Award for his band MAMMOTH WVH‘s song “Distance”, Valerie said: “When he was nomin...

Former CHILDREN OF BODOM Members ‘Have No Passion To Try To Put Together’ A Tribute Show For ALEXI LAIHO

On March 9, former CHILDREN OF BODOM members Jaska Raatikainen (drums), Henri “Henkka T. Blacksmith” Seppälä (bass) and Janne Wirman (keyboards) were interviewed by Chaoszine about the band’s second beer collaboration with Fat Lizard brewery titled Murder Point. During the chat, they were asked if they would consider playing a tribute concert for their former bandmate, late CHILDREN OF BODOM frontman Alexi Laiho, who died in December 2020 at the age of 41. “Well, it’s a tricky question, and then even the three of us, we have not really discussed about it,” Janne said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). “The way I personally feel about this is Alexi would not like a tribute show. Alexi would like just CHILDREN OF BODOM playing a show. And even tho...

DRAGONFORCE Has ‘A Lot Of Music Written’ For Next Album

DRAGONFORCE guitarist Herman Li spoke to Finland’s Chaoszine about the progress of the songwriting sessions for the band’s next studio album. He said: “We’ve got a lot of music written. We haven’t recorded it. So we’re actually gonna look for a new record deal at the moment to do it. “We don’t do music for money, so we only release stuff when we want to and it sounds good,” he explained. “We’re not on a hamster wheel: ‘You’ve gotta release an album every two years.’ It’s hard to be creative when you just force yourself to make good music, and every artist knows. “We don’t just make music now; we’re content creators at the same time. We have a pause on YouTube at the moment, but we we...

Leaders And Liars – BILLYBIO

RATING: 8/10 There are plenty of musicians out there who could reasonably be described as a force of nature, but few of them make music as naturally forceful, and therefore as convincing, as Billy Graziadei. Whether as co-frontman with BIOHAZARD or as six-string foil to Sen Dog in POWERFLO, the New Yorker always plays it like he means it, while writing songs that seek to untangle some of life’s thorniest issues. In theory, BILLYBIO is a solo project, but as with 2018’s “Feed The Fire” debut, the great man’s second declaration of independence punches, snarls and spits with the same sweat-drenched, street-bound intensity that has informed the majority of his best work. Backed by a formidable line-up that includes SUICIDAL TENDENCIES bassist Roberto Diaz and THE ...

Goldman Sachs CEO to DJ at Lollapalooza

You know how it goes: As the festival lineup print gets smaller, the artists tend to be lesser known. But there’s one act toward the bottom of the Lollapalooza 2022 lineup poster who’s actually pretty famous: David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs. The leader of the investment bank is set to perform a DJ set at the Chicago festival this July. Solomon, who’s served as Goldman Sachs’ chief executive officer since 2018, has dabbled in DJing for a while now. “[I] kind of stumbled into it as a hobby, and now I just do it for fun,” he said in a 2017 Goldman Sachs podcast. Solomon tends to spin records at a couple of elite events a year, with the profits going to charity. His resume boasts a  2019 Amazon event and a pre-Super Bowl LVI party hosted by Sports Illustrated, according to Bloomberg. ...
