A 1965 Mosrite Ventures II electric guitar owned by Johnny Ramone has sold for nearly $1 million at auction. The winning bid via the Boston-based company RR Auction was $937,500. According to the VP of the auction house, Bobby Livingston, “The consignor was thrilled with the results and is very happy that the guitar is in the hands of someone who will curate Johnny Ramone’s Mosrite for future generations to enjoy.” Per the auction site, Johnny...

It will be produced in both sonic blue and fiesta red colors, and left-handed and right-handed models will be available. The guitar’s expected release is October 2021 with a suggested retail price of $1,249.99, and it’s available for pre-order via Reverb. Related Video The Jag-Stang was originally i...

The Alex Lifeson Epiphone Les Paul Standard Axcess electric guitar is the culmination of an extensive collaboration between Lifeson and Epiphone’s parent company Gibson. The guitarist added his signature touches to the classic Les Paul design, improving on an already legendary guitar. “The introduction of the Epiphone Alex Lifeson Axcess model based on my Gibson Les Paul Axcess model has all the same attributes and characteristics that I desired so much when we originally designed it,” Lifeson said in a press release on ...
Tom DeLonge has partnered with Reverb to sell his Blink-182 and Angels and Airwaves gear. The Official Tom DeLonge Reverb Shop goes live on March 24th. Over 100 items used in the studio and on tour will be up for grabs, including synthesizers, keyboards, amps, pedals, road cases, and more. For fans of Blink-182, there’s a few priceless artifacts, like the Marshall JMP-1 and Mesa Boogie Triaxis amps the band toured with beginning in 2000. “A lot of these still have the original settings for the songs they were used on,” DeLonge said in a press release. The veteran musician simply has too much stuff, and it’s time to make space. Reverb hosted a similar sale with Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, who sold much of his stock within the first days of launching.
