Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin on Sunday (July 3) denied allegations that led to a restraining order against him, with police noting that he has not been charged with any crime. Police said Saturday that a judge had issued the order against Martin, but authorities trying to serve the order were unable to find the singer in the Puerto Rican town of Dorado, where he lives. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Hüsker Dü and UltraBomb bassist Greg Norton cover cancer treatment, as Consequence of Sound points out. According to a post on his Facebook account, Norton was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the beginning of June. The GoFundMe page was set up by friends of the musician, who are hoping to reach a goal of $30,000. “We can’t imagine the stress and anxiety he and his family must be going through,” organizers wrote on Norton’s GoFundMe. “One thing that’s for sure, though, is that the cost of treatment in the United States is eyewatering.
