Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ On Track For Third U.K. Chart Crown

It took 37 years to reach No. 1, now Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” (via Fish People) is proving hard to move from the U.K. chart summit. Based on midweek sales and streaming data crunched by the OCC, “Running Up That Hill” is on track for a third consecutive week at No. 1. Bush, who was nominated for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, is enjoying a remarkable resurgence off the back of season four of Stranger Things, which has featured the song in several life-or-death situations. Lily Meola Lives Her ‘Daydream’ With Tearjerking – And Golden Buzzer-Winning – ‘AGT’ Audition

Golden buzzers are the stuff dreams are made of. Or daydreams, as is the case for Lily Meola. The 27-year-old singer and songwriter performed an original song on America’s Got Talent, a number that would draw tears from a stone. “Daydreams” has evolved over the years, Meola explained at the top, a song written at a time when things were going great, when a music industry path lay out in front of her. “Then my life flipped upside down,” she recounted. Her mom was diagnosed with cancer, Meola became her fulltime caregiver, and lost her label deal during that difficult time. Sadly, her mom didn’t make it, though Meola is grateful for the extra time she had. “I’m just trying to make her proud, and continue to live my daydream,” she explained. In that moment, everyone in the room was living her...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Chip Somodevilla / Getty White conservatives stay telling on themselves on Twitter—and then pretending the racist sh*t they said wasn’t racist. Former President Barack Obama posted a simple tweet joining most Americans in condemning the U.S. Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade, which ends constitutionally protected abortion rights. “Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans,” Obama wrote.
