DaBaby Charged With Felony Battery in Connection With Music Video Incident

DaBaby has been charged with felony battery by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The charges stem from a December 2020 incident in which Gary Pagar, a 65-year-old rental property owner in Los Angeles, accused DaBaby of hitting him and knocking out his tooth, TMZ reports and court documents confirm. Last year, Pagar filed a lawsuit against DaBaby and the rapper’s manager, alleging that DaBaby and his associates rented one of Pagar’s properties for a “private vacation” with “no more than nine people.” Pagar claimed that DaBaby agreed “in writing” that he would neither bring additional guests nor “use the house for commercial purposes, specifically including filming.” DaBaby allegedly hosted “40 people and a commercial film crew” at the house to shoot a music video for his si...

Naomi Judd, the singer and television actress best known as the matriarch of country music duo the Judds, died Saturday (April 30). She was 76 years old. “Today we sisters experienced a tragedy,” her daughters Wynonna and Ashley Judd said in a statement. “We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public.
