Louie Vega, the veteran New York DJ and producer best known for his group Masters at Work, has announced his new album Expansions in the NYC. The album is a manifestation of Expansions NYC, the club night Vega started in 2019, and features contributions from Robyn, Moodymann, Honey Dijon, and more. It’s due out April 29 via Nervous. Deftones have canceled their summer dates in Ukraine and Russia, the band announced today (March 29). “With deep regret, we will be cancelling our Ukraine and Russia shows in July,” Deftones wrote. “We’re hoping we’ll be able to return to play soon. We hope everyone is safe.” Since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine in late February, several artists have canceled dates in both countries, including Nick Cave, Björk, and My Chemical Romance. Ward and Zooey Deschanel, have announced their Melt Away Tour: A Tribute To Brian Wilson, in which they’ll play original songs as well as classics written by the Beach Boys founder. Juan Pablo Isaza and Juan Pablo Villamil, Morat‘s lead singers and main songwriters, have signed a worldwide publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.
