Jay Leno — former host of The Tonight Show and car connoisseur — was in his Los Angeles home working on one of his cars when it reportedly set ablaze and caused serious burns to his face. The American television figure has been admitted to the Grossman Burn Center in LA for injury treatment and it’s been reported that he is in stable condition. In a statement made out to Variety, Leno said “I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.” He was slated to make an appearance at a Las Vegas financial conference this past Sunday and has canceled all other engagements for the foreseeable future. In an exclusive quote to Deadline, DJ Screw’s sister Michelle Wheeler expressed her excitement of the film saying that “continuing the legacy of my brother is most important…The process honestly has been exciting. I’m like wow, we’re really about to make a movie. Nearly a dozen film directors and producers had approached us over the years, but this was the first time I actually felt fully comfortable. Seth Rogen is set to start in a new Apple TV+ comedy series about the entertainment industry, as well as develop the half-hour project alongside Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory. According to reports, the untitled show follows the story of a longstanding and once-dominant Hollywood movie studio as it tries “to survive in a world where it is increasingly difficult for art and commerce to live together.” On top of starring in the series, Rogen will also serve as a writer, director and executive producer with Goldberg, while Huyck and Gregory will serve as showrunners. Netflix has introduced a new feature allowing users to remotely log individual devices out of their account as the streaming service continues to crack down on password sharing. Marvel‘s VP of Production & Development Nate Moore has officially confirmed that the fourth installment in the Captain America franchise, Captain America: New World Order will begin shooting in Spring 2023. Moore discussed the project in his latest interview with Collider that this will be the next film he is working on after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In a recent appearance on Bugzy Malone’s Grandest Game podcast, Kirk Ewing, an industry veteran and friend of GTA creators Sam and Dan Houser, explained that Sam turned down a $5 million USD offer for the movie rights just shortly after Grand Theft Auto III was released in 2001. Disney is set to bring the world of The Princess Diaries to the current decade, reviving the beloved franchise. The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report the announcement, confirming that Aadrita Mukerji will be penning a script for a new installment. Sources close to the project have said that the film will not be a reboot, but will a continuation of the Anne Hathaway-led storyline.
