Lucky Hank, AMC’s forthcoming series starring Bob Odenkirk, is scheduled to premiere on the network on March 19, just over seven months following the season-finale premiere of the actor’s Better Call Saul. On Tuesday, the production company revealed the first teaser for the series, placing Odenkirk’s “difficult” character at the center of the drama. The eight-episode series, which is based on Richard Russo’s novel Straight Man, sees Odenkirk in the role of William Henry Devereaux Jr., or Hank, an English department chairman at an underfunded Pennsylvania college who faces a midlife crisis and “specialize[s] in minor strife and insignificant irritation,” according to the teaser. A24 has shared the full official trailer for Ari Aster‘s BEAU IS AFRAID starring Joaquin Phoenix. The surrealist comedy horror film will see Phoenix as “a paranoid man [who] embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother,” with the adrenaline-fueled trailer visualizing the actor go through different realms of his “fears” and face the supernatural on his journey after an accident. According to reports, Amazon Prime Video is already developing Season 2 of The Boys spin-off, Gen V. The news is particularly interesting as Season 1 of the show has yet to receive a premiere date. With Netflix wrapping up the popular sci-fi series, Stranger Things, the cast is sure to receive a well-deserved pay day for being one of the most popular shows on the streamer. HBO has announced an official companion podcast to its highly-anticipated series, The Last of Us. Premiering in tandem with the show, The Last of Us Podcast will see host Troy Baker — the voice and motion capture actor of Joel in the video games — sit down with series creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, the latter of whom also wrote and directed the games.
