‘Lucky Hank’ Teaser Puts Bob Odenkirk Through a Midlife Crisis

Lucky Hank, AMC’s forthcoming series starring Bob Odenkirk, is scheduled to premiere on the network on March 19, just over seven months following the season-finale premiere of the actor’s Better Call Saul. On Tuesday, the production company revealed the first teaser for the series, placing Odenkirk’s “difficult” character at the center of the drama. The eight-episode series, which is based on Richard Russo’s novel Straight Man, sees Odenkirk in the role of William Henry Devereaux Jr., or Hank, an English department chairman at an underfunded Pennsylvania college who faces a midlife crisis and “specialize[s] in minor strife and insignificant irritation,” according to the teaser. A24 has shared the full official trailer for Ari Aster‘s BEAU IS AFRAID starring Joaquin Phoenix.
