Gorō Taniguchi’s One Piece Film: Red will be making its way to screens in the United States and elsewhere this fall. The animated fantasy flick originally debuted in Japan earlier this month, and is now slated for release in North America, Australia and New Zealand in October. Vince Staples will be getting his own scripted comedy series at Netflix. The streamer has ordered The Vince Staples Show, which will be loosely based on the 29-year-old rapper’s life. The show will take place in Staples’ home city of Long Beach, California. In addition to starring in the eponymous series, Staples will also executive produce. Kenya Barris, the creator of ABC’s black-ish, will also executive produce through his company Khalabo Ink Society, alongside Ian Edelman, Maurice Williams, Corey Smyth and Calmatic.
