Kevin Feige has just confirmed some details surrounding the upcoming Fantastic Four film. As part of Phase 6, Fantastic Four is slated for November 8, 2024 — the last forecasted Marvel Multiverse Saga films for 2024. Speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con, Feige gave fans a few clues as to where Fantastic Four film is headed: “A lot of people know this origin story. A lot of people know the basics. Following the massive success of Creed, which itself was a spin-off from Sylvester Stallone‘s Rocky franchise, the project is now getting its own spin-off as well named “Drago.” As its name suggests, the new franchise will center around Florian Munteanu’s Viktor Drago, the son of Rocky’s nemesis Ivan Drago. The character first made his debut in Creed II as the main opponent against Michael B. Jordan‘s Adonis Creed, with Rocky veteran Dolph Lundgren reprising his role as the Soviet captain who trains his son Viktor. The story leads on from Ivan Drago’s rivalry with Balboa after he killed Adonis’ father Apollo Creed during a boxing match. Extending its ongoing efforts to create more diversity and representation among its characters, Marvel has now introduced a new group of superheroes consisting entirely of South Koreans. Named “Tiger Division,” the new team of heroes was first introduced by Jed MacKay last year in Taskmaster and Black Cat Annual, but will now be getting their own, five-issue standalone comic series helmed by Emily Kim, who previously wrote Silk. Post Malone is taking fans behind the scenes in an all-new tour documentary titled Runaway later this summer. The film is slated to premiere on Amazon‘s Freevee streaming platform in August.
