More details have been revealed surrounding the new Rurouni Kenshin anime. The forthcoming series received a release date and trailer at Aniplex Online Fest 2022, confirming that the new series will be a reboot of the initial 1996 anime adaptation. The manga that the anime is based upon follows a former assassin who dedicates his life to preserving peace and protecting others. While wandering the countryside, he encounters a young woman in need of help and ultimately invites her into his dojo.
