Vash the Stampede Is Making a Return With New ‘TRIGUN STAMPEDE’ Anime

Anime fans are going to be excited to learn that TRIGUN is making a comeback with TRIGUN STAMPEDE. The TRIGUN anime series was introduced in 1998 by Yasuhiro Nightow and follows the wanted gunslinger Vash the Stampede aka “The Humanoid Typhoon” on the planet Gunsmoke, following the destruction of Third City — also known as the July incident. With a massive bounty on his head, Vash, along with Nicholas D. Wolfwood must locate Vash’s twin brother Knives Millions while facing off against the Gung-Ho-Guns. The classic Japanese anime Astroboy is officially receiving a reboot. The series, which has largely been regarded as one of the best-selling manga series of all time, will be rebooted by the creator and director of Miraculous, Thomas Astruc. According to Variety, Astruc will be directing the new CGI-3D series, which is set to consist of 52 half-hour episodes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new Disney+ series based on Wonder Man, an early-day Avenger, is currently in development led by Shang-Chi filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton and Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer Andrew Guest. While development is still in the early stages, it’s reported that the film may begin filming in 2023. Tom Hardy took to Instagram to share a picture of what look’s to be the title page of a script for the untitled Venom 3. The post does not reveal much information; however, it was revealed that Venom 1 and 2‘s screenwriter, Kelly Marcel, has written the script for the third movie as well. As an extension to the Shrek franchise, the fan-favorite character Puss is receiving its own spin-off. Titled, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, the film follows the cat bandit as he finds out he has used up eight of his nine lives.
