My ideal kind of world would be forever be in late September / early October—it’s not too dark at night but light enough in the morning to not feel depressing, the weather is also not too cold and not too warm. I’m not sure if this is a universal feeling, but for me, autumn will always be epitomized by the colourful shades of fallen leaves. From earthy natural tones of orange, brown and yellow, there’s something about seeing those colours that immediately makes me think of the season. The same applies to clothes. “The coat of dreams” is quite the comment to see as you’re scrolling through Instagram in the morning, but that’s one of the first things I spotted as I was doing my initial scroll of the day. The comment in question was referring to an item from, you guessed it, Zara—oversized, double-breasted pastel blue coat. The high-street store has just dropped a new autumnal collection of coats and jackets and there’s no escaping the fact that they’ve once again done a great job of it.
