‘Halo Infinite’ Finally Announces Campaign Co-op Launch Date

Back in early March, 343 Industries disappointed many fans by announcing that campaign co-op won’t be arriving initially with season two of Halo Infinite, and no other launch dates for the feature were provided at the time. Luckily, the studio has now revealed a release window for the coveted mode. As part of the content roadmap for the game for the rest of 2022, 343 Industries revealed earlier last week that campaign co-op will be making its debut during season two of the game. The targeted release date is now scheduled for late August, which will coincide with a new feature that allows you to replay specific levels in the campaign as well, although co-op mode will only be available for network-connected games first. Eight years after the original episodic game was released, Tales from the Borderlands is finally getting a second installment from Gearbox. Announced over at PAX East, details surrounding the upcoming sequel remain scarce at the moment but Gearbox promises a “new adventure” as well as “new characters,” and “new tales.” The game will most likely take the same episodic approach as the original Telltale Games project, a genre that has proven popular among fans since The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead series. After more than five years since Splatoon 2 came out on the Nintendo Switch, we’re finally getting a release date for Splatoon 3. The long-awaited sequel for the third-person shooter is now scheduled to arrive this September, escaping the delays that have hit another highly-anticipated sequel for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. 343 Industries Drops ‘Halo Infinite’ Roadmap for 2022

Fans have long been asking for more, and now 343 Industries has finally answered by providing the 2022 content roadmap for Halo Infinite. The game will be launching its second season on May 3, and 343 Industries says that the upcoming season will feature two new maps named Catalyst and Breaker, three new game modes including King of the Hill, Land Grab and Last Spartan Standing, and bonus “narrative events” involving “Interference” and “Alpha Pack” releases, although little has been revealed about this latter addition for now. Sony Announces Launch Dates for Its PlayStation Plus Game Pass Alternative

Earlier last month, Sony confirmed rumors that it’ll be releasing a game pass alternative through revamping its current PlayStation Plus service, and now the gaming giant has finally announced the launch dates for the new program, which will offer more than 700 titles initially. According to a blog post from the company, the new PlayStation Plus format will arrive as early as May 23 for the Asia region except for Japan, which will receive the service starting on June 1. Shortly after, the Americas will be getting it on June 13, with Europe finally getting it on June 22. Shortly after leaks began surfacing online, Ubisoft has taken back the steering wheel by now officially announcing its latest project: codenamed Project Q. Taking to Twitter to announce the upcoming game, the French video game studio calls Project Q a “team battle arena” that will let “players truly own the experience,” although no other specifics were given about its gameplay. ‘Rocket League’ To Receive Battle Royale Mode

Rocket League is adding a limited-time battle royale mode, dubbed Knockout Bash, to its usual vehicular soccer gameplay. The new mode, which will be available to play for two weeks beginning on April 27, will see eight players face off against each other inside an ever-shrinking “Safezone” in an effort to be the last one standing. Players must defend themselves by ramming into opposing vehicles, blocking attacks and throwing opponents across the arena; they will only be eliminated once they have been knocked out three times, according to Engadget.
