Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption publisher Take-Two Interactive is now planning on releasing eight more remasters. Revealed during a recent financial report, the video game company said that it intends to remaster another eight more of its classic games and release them by 2025, calling them “new iterations of previously released titles.” While it didn’t mention any franchise specifically, Take-Two will have plenty of options from Rockstar Games, including more GTA titles, a possible remake of the original Red Dead Redemption, or even Bully, a game that has garnered a cult following over the years with many fans asking for a sequel. Wata Games Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Retro Games Market Manipulation

Wata Games and Heritage Auctions co-founder Jim Halperin has now become the focus of a class-action lawsuit claiming that they’ve manipulated the retro games market for personal gain. The filing was made in California by clients that previously employed Wata for its grading services and alleges that Wata has been artificially inflating the prices of retro video games and failing to disclose that Halperin also sits on its board of directors. Sony Reveals Lineup of Games Available on Forthcoming PlayStation Plus Service

Ahead of launching its PlayStation Plus subscription service, Sony has detailed some of the games that will be included in the catalog. Spanning hundreds of titles, the list is made up of games coming out of PlayStation Studios and those from third-party partners. From its own studios, PlayStation is offering titles such as Demon’s Souls, Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut and God of War. It also has several installments from a few franchises, including Spider-Man, Uncharted, The Last of Us and more. Google Launches Free-To-Play Pinball Web Game

Google has unexpectedly launched a web-based pinball game. An official statement from the tech giant mentioned that the game is written in their programming tools Flutter and Firebase, and uses the Flame game engine to run. The game is available for free on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows and is said to help demonstrate the practicality of Flutter and Firebase. Offering straightforward gameplay, players start by picking a character and then gaining access to the pinball game that gamers are used to and love. TABS Ragdoll Physics Battle Simulator Is coming to the Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has just announced that the ragdoll physics battle simulation fighting game Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS) will be making its way to the Switch this coming Sumer 2022. The Landfall Games simulator features different modes like campaign mode, multiplayer, unit and battle creator, and sandbox mode. After countless requests from fans of the franchise, 343 Industries may finally be bringing back some classic Halo maps for Halo Infinite. In a recent episode of Kinda Funny Xcast, the studio’s creative lead Joseph Staten discussed all things Halo Infinite, including what fans can expect for the future of the game. Bethesda Delays ‘Starfield’ and ‘Redfall’ to 2023

Following in a long line of delays across the gaming industry, Bethesda has now announced that both Starfield and Redfall will also be delayed. The space-exploring sci-fi open-world title was originally slated to arrive on November 11 while the vampire shooter was meant to be released this summer, but both games have now been delayed to the first half of 2023.
