With season two just around the corner, Treyarch has now teased a new zombies map coming to Call of Duty: Vanguard. Featured in a short clip below, the studio unveils a new, apocalyptic setting named Terra Maledicta, described as “Egypt’s Eastern Desert and abroad.” The location will serve as the zombie mode’s hub and lead to various gateways into brand new combat areas as well as the Dark Aether itself. Of course, you can also expect new weapons, new allies, and new enemies to confront on your zombie-slaying journey. Sony Is Testing a Voice Command Feature for the PlayStation 5
The forthcoming PlayStation 5 update will include voice command controls. Rolling out to English-speaking users located in the United States and the United Kingdom first, the beta feature was initially available on the previous-generation console when it debuted in 2013. Users will be able to activate the feature by saying “Hey PlayStation.” From there, they can use their voice to launch games, apps and the system menu. They can use their voice to control other media aspects such as playback. In addition to voice command, Sony will be introducing new tools such as voice chats called parties, which are essentially group chats that can be made either available to join via invitation-only or open to the public. ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ Surpasses ‘Magic: The Gathering’ on Google Search for the First Time in 10 Years
For the first time in ten years, Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG has surpassed Magic: The Gathering on Google search. Largely attributed to the mass popularity of the recent release of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel — having now surpassed 10 million downloads — the actual TCG has passed Pokémon on the “Top-Selling” list of Black Friday 2021, landing in second place under MTG. This momentum should lead to some exciting releases in the coming year for both the Master Duel game and TCG. A little more than two months after Boba Fett joined Fortnite, his trusty companion bounty hunters Fennec Shand and Krrsantan are now both coming to the popular battle royale game as well. Both available now in the game’s store, the two new skins depict the two prolific combatants in their Book of Boba Fett appearances. Wordle has taken the Internet by storm over the recent weeks, but luckily for retro gaming purists, they can now join in on the fun thanks to hardware hacker Stacksmashing over on Twitter, who managed to port the game onto the classic Nintendo Game Boy. A result of three hours of tinkering after being stuck inside because of the rain, Stacksmashing managed to create a ROM of Wordle that can run on the vintage handheld device, although given its limited size and hardware capabilities, the hacker was unable to bring over the entire word list from the game. Instead, he used a bloom filter to check if an entered word is one of the 8,000 most commonly used English words. Aniplex and Sega have just released the official teaser for the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles game for the Nintendo Switch. While the earlier PS5 trailer heavily revealed scenes from the “Mugen Train” arc, this new teaser for The Hinokami Chronicles for the Switch dives into the “Entertainment District” arc with epic battles between the Demon Slayer Corps and upper-rank demons.
