Months before Battlefield 2042 has even released, hacker groups online have already started selling cheats for EA and DICE‘s upcoming shooter installment. According to Kotaku, a website called iWantCheats is offering gamers a whole range of different cheats for Battlefield 2042 even though the game is scheduled to arrive in late October. The service offers everything from aimbots that’ll lock your gun onto your targets automatically or item radars that’ll reveal the locations of various items you’d usually need to hunt for. All you have to do to ruin the fun for everyone else is purchase the cheat, run the program, and then start the game before setting up the cheats in-game. For the first time since the team’s inception, G2 Esports have failed to qualify for the League of Legends World Championship this year. Pit against Fnatic during the LEC semifinals over in Europe, G2 suffered a close 2-3 loss after an intense five-game contest between two of the continent’s greatest sides. Epic Games have Fortnite revealed their latest addition to the icon series: reggaeton artist and five-time Latin GRAMMY winner, J Balvin. The additions will include a new J Balvin outfit, emote, glider and back bling that unsheathes as a pickaxe. Starting on August 24, players were able to unlock the new outfit and back bling early with the J Balvin Cup. The entirety of the J Balvin Set will release later this week. PlayStation owners will now get to test out the alpha version of Call of Duty: Vanguard this weekend completely for free. Beginning on August 27 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and ending at the same time on August 29, both PlayStation 4 and 5 players will be able to access the upcoming installment’s alpha phase for the full 48 hours. According to the announcement, gamers will take on Sledgehammer Games’ innovative new multiplayer mode called Champion Hill. Spanning across all four theaters of war in World War II, Call of Duty: Vanguard will bring players all across the Eastern Front, Western Front, North Africa and Pacific, with a traditional campaign mode follow four separate characters. Following its first official gameplay trailer one year ago, Game Science is back with another 13-minute preview of  Black Myth: Wukong that’s even more stunning than the first. With less than two months before its release, Nintendo has now uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming Switch 2D platform shooter Metroid Dread detailing some of its story elements. Featured above, the almost two-minute clip explains that seven multiform mobile identifier robots were dispatched to a planet in order to curtail the revival of a parasitic lifeform called X Parasite. However, upon arrival, all seven droids disappeared, and now Samus has taken on the mission to investigate exactly what happened to the robots and to stop the parasitic invasion. Originally released back in 2003 for the PlayStation 2, The Simpsons: Hit & Run was a GTA clone featuring your favorite animated characters in an open-world environment where you’re free to wreak havoc. Long-time fan Reubs decided to rebuild the title using the latest Unreal Engine 5, refreshing textures to work with ray tracing. Functioning as a handheld PC, the Steam Deck runs on a customized AMD chip coupled with built-in storage ranging from 64GB to 512GB. Just last week, Soulja Boy took to Instagram to make a bold claim that he is now the owner of the electronic gaming company, Atari. However, Atari upon hearing about the news quickly took to their Twitter account to say that the title of CEO “belongs to Wade Rosen.” Soulja Boy first said that the company was interested in his Soulja Boy Game console and that they officially signed over the company to him, adding that he plans on selling the company for $140 million USD.
