‘Skyrim’ Is Getting a Next-Gen Update a Decade After Its Original Release

A decade after its initial launch, the now ultra-iconic video game Skyrim is receiving a next-gen upgrade for those lucky enough to get their hands on the new consoles. Announced via a blog post from Bethesda in celebration of the legendary game’s 10-year anniversary, the studio revealed that an enhanced version of the RPG will be coming soon to next-gen consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. While it has divulged any details regarding exactly what will be enhanced, we can probably expect higher resolutions, better graphics and elevated frame rates. Soulja Boy Claims He Owns Atari, Now Plans to Sell the Gaming Company

Soulja Boy has reportedly claimed to be the owner of the electronic gaming company, Atari. The rapper recently jumped on his Instagram Live to announce that he is Atari’s new big boss, “I’m now the owner of Atari. I own the video game Atari.” The artist later revealed that the company was really happy with its own video game work for SouljaGame Consoles and SouljaGame Handhelds and even claimed that he is selling his own gaming company to Atari. 4K Remaster of ‘Quake’ Is Now Available on PC and Consoles

Bethesda has now remastered the cult classic Quake from 1996 in full 4K. Greatly enhancing visuals for the dark fantasy first-person shooter, the publisher not only increased its resolutions but also incorporated widescreen support, more detailed models, dynamic and color lighting, anti-aliasing and a more realistic depth of field while retaining the game’s original atmospheric soundtrack and theme song written by Trent Reznor. Activision Unveils the First Official Trailer for ‘Call of Duty: Vanguard’

Activision shared the first full trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard during a reveal stream on Thursday. The new gameplay spans across all four theaters of World War II: the Eastern Front, the Western Front,  North Africa and the Pacific. Similar to older Call of Duty iterations, Vanguard will host a campaign that follows four point-of-view characters — Private Lucas Riggs of the British Eighth Army, Sergeant Arthur Kingsley of the British Army, Lieutenant Wade Jackson of the United States Navy and Lieutenant Polina Petrova of the Red Army — in different areas of the map. New rumors have surfaced suggesting that The Last of Us Part II might be receiving a multiplayer battle royale mode. The new discoveries were made by YouTuber Speclizer, who found deep within the game’s files a bunch of assets deep within that so far haven’t been utilized yet. All the items were designed specifically for multiplayer modes, and while they could be just preparing for Factions, some other assets suggest that it could be much more than just a small-scale multiplayer experience.
