The semiconductor manufacturing powerhouse supplies some of the world’s largest brands, including Apple, Toyota, and AMD, which happens to in turn supply GPUs and CPUs for both Sony and Microsoft’s consoles. ‘Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’ Devs Explain Why Star-Lord Is the Sole Playable Character

Shortly after unveiling the upcoming game’s main villain, the team behind Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has now shed more light on why they chose Star-Lord to be the only playable character, a decision that has brought controversy among fans. In a recent interview with VG247, the game’s senior creative director Jean-François Dugas explained that the team wanted players to be more immersed within the team instead of being pulled out to a more controlling, top-down view of the Guardians. “Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Drax, and Groot ooze with personality. We wanted players to be at the center stage of that dynamic,” Dugas said. “Therefore, the question became, ‘What if players are one of the Guardians? What if we put them in the shoes of the ‘so-called’ leader, and let them make the bi...

Norman Reedus May Have Just Confirmed a ‘Death Stranding’ Sequel

Fans of Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding might have some hope for a sequel as Norman Reedus, aka Sam Porter Bridges, has revealed that a follow-up could be in the works. So… Yay!” While the translation does say a second game is coming, the Portuguese translation could be referring to a new expansion or more DLC — much like the upcoming Director’s Cut Digital Deluxe Edition that’s arriving at the end of next month. Other sources seem to think that the translation from Reedus is entirely accurate and that a sequel is on its way in the coming future. Due to the success of the game and Kojima’s track record for further developing storylines...

Breaking down the differences between the old and new models, Evans discovers that the heatsink of the revised edition is significantly smaller than its predecessor. While it does shave weight by around 0.66lb, it does also increase the device’s running temperature by a couple of degrees. Aside from the heatsink, there are also a few minor changes between the editions, although none of them should really have a significant impact on the consoles’ performances. Connections to the Wi...
