From the trailer, the game very much plays like a spiritual successor to Dead Space, putting players in the shoes of a lone protagonist who finds himself trapped in a prison colony named Black Iron on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320. Jacob Lee (played by Josh Duhamel) will have to fight off an alien invasion that seems to have been engineered by the prison’s warden. First announced all the way back in 2012 during that year’s Gamescom, ROUTINE is a horror game inspired by the “’80s vision of the future” and places players in an abandoned Lunar base. Confronting a series of terrifying environments such as abandoned malls and deteriorating living quarters, your goal is to journey through the base and survive its many dangers, whether it means you’ll have to run, hide, or fight. Almost a decade after its original release, the first part of The Last of Us is finally getting a remake for both the PlayStation 5 and PC. The new remake was announced by Naughty Dog and Sony over at Summer Game Fest 2022, and the two released a fresh trailer showcasing some of the visual enhancements fans can expect from the game that now benefits from nine years of hardware development and a whole new generation of consoles. Shortly after releasing a world reveal trailer yesterday, Activision and Infinity Ward have now followed up with a more detailed look at one of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II‘s new campaign missions. Coming more than eight years since the release of the original hit Goat Simulator, the Swedish video game developer is bringing back the fan-favorite Pilgor the goat to your PC and consoles later this year, although the maniacal bovid will now be terrorizing a brand new location called San Angora. Meta recently announced they’re bringing game development platform Clayta to Facebook Gaming‘s cloud streaming service. Crayta allows you to build and play games with your friends in real-time. Meta describes it as an easy-to-use developer toolkit that makes game creation more accessible. Crayta was developed by Unit 2 Games, acquired by Meta last June. Frost Giant Studios, a game developer co-founded by former Blizzard production director Tim Morten, has officialy revealed its new free-to-play real-time strategy game, Stormgate. Two years in the making, Stormgate runs on Unreal Engine 5 and custom simulation technology. According to the official synopsis, the game is set hundreds of years in Earth’s future and will feature two factions at the time of launch. “Take command of the human resistance, the demonic invaders, or other factions yet to be revealed–solo or cooperatively. According to reports, the next game from Hideo Kojima’s development studio, Kojima Productions, has leaked. Tom Henderson, a freelance reporter for Try Hard Guides, recently wrote an article about an upcoming horror game, titled Overdose. The article notes that Overdose will star actress Margaret Qualley and can be played in first- and third-person. Henderson also shared details about the footage sent to him anonymously, saying that a character in a blue dress with Qualley’s likeness can be seen walking through a dark corridor with a flashlight. Developer Infinity Ward on Wednesday released the official world reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, along with additional information about the forthcoming title’s gameplay. The campaign will follow the newly-formed Task Force 141, with familiar characters including Price, Soap, Gaz and Ghost, as they face off against a massive global threat in a variety of missions. Gameplay will take place across the globe, though Task Force 141’s primary goal is to neutralize a terrorist conspiracy and attack on the United States.
