Pete Edochie raises concern over increased cosmetic surgeries among ladies

Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has expressed concerns about the increasing patronage of cosmetic surgeries by Nigerian ladies. The veteran thespian, via a video posted on his Instagram page, asked why young ladies seem obsessed with boob and butt enlargement surgeries. During an interview with Adakarl TV, Edochie said, “Today, it is difficult to find a girl who is still what she is. They wear false hair, false lashes, false boobs, false bum, I do not know what is still natural about you, let’s be honest. D’banj set to unveil new female signee

Popular Nigerian singer, Dapo Oyebanjo, fondly known as D’banj, has revealed plans to unveil a new female signee to his record label, DB records. The self-acclaimed ‘Koko Master’ made the announcement on Thursday via his verified Instagram page, where he uploaded a poster showing the female signee but with a covered face. The poster read, “New artiste unveiling by DB records.” In the caption section, D’banj wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen, @dbrecordsofficial has a first lady. Rivers: Robbery suspect arrested with police identity card

A suspected armed robber who was among two suspects arrested by security guards and residents of Elekahia Housing Estate was seen with an identity card of Nigeria Police Force, suggesting he might be their personnel. Newsmen gathered that the suspected were arrested on Saturday night after successfully robbing two ladies, but could not escape from the estate because of the presence of local vigilance group. Pastor Timi Adigun of The Ark Church and the coordinator of MINE Teenage Ministry has admitted being involved in ‘inappropriate behaviour’ with females in his church over a couple of years. Adigun who apologized on his social media page 48 hours after the sexual allegations went viral, however, said he had ‘no sexual intercourse’ with any of the ladies and none of them was underaged. Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has enjoined the Feminist Coalition not to stop receiving donations supporting the #EndSARS protesters. Recall that the group, which has been providing administrative support and fundraising for the group had said it would no longer accept donations for the campaign, which seeks an end to police brutality and the disbandment of the police’s tactical special units – SARS and SWAT. Police arrest nine for ‘armed robbery, cultism’ in Enugu

Nine persons have been arrested by the Police in Enugu state for involving in offences of conspiracy, armed robbery, unlawful possession of firearm, cultism, and receiving of stolen property. Their arrest followed a renewed charge by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmad AbdurRahman, that police operatives should increase the tempo to rid the state of criminal elements.
