Zach Bryan is making a statement. On Christmas, the singer-songwriter announced on social media that he had released a new live album titled All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live From Red Rocks). He also told fans that he is taking a stand against high ticket prices, though he did not specifically call out Ticketmaster in his post, save for in the album title. “Seems there is a massive issue with fair ticket prices to live shows lately. I have met kids at my shows who have paid upwards of four-hundred bucks to be there and I’m done with it,” the country star began his message. “I’ve decided to play a limited number of headline shows next year to which I’ve done all I can to make prices as cheap as possible and to prove to people tickets don’t have to cost $450 to see a good and honest show...

As part of Consequence’s 15th anniversary, we asked a bunch of former CoSigned artists to reflect on their own last 15 years. To round out the year, we’re bringing you one more Consequestionnaire from Sunflower Bean, the only band to be CoSigned twice. To help close out the year, we’re delivering one more taste of the Consequence: 15 Years of Sound celebration. One of the respondents to our Consequestionnaire happens to be the only band to ever receive both the CoSign (September 2016) and Artist of the Month (March 2018) designations: Sunflower Bean. (For what it’s worth, we’ve recently coalesced everything back under the CoSign banner.) But the New York City natives have been more than worth the double-up. Since releasing their Human Ceremony in ’16, the Sunflower Bean have grown int...

Winter, that occasionally charming burden, is not shared equally, as Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin reminded us on the eighth and final night of Hanukkah with their cover of Randy Newman’s “I Love LA.” Like previous covers in Season 3 of the Hanukkah Series, “I Love LA” was recorded live at Los Angeles’ Largo at the Coronet on December 5th.
