Yendry is back with the new song “Ki-Ki.” It comes with a music video that the Dominican-Italian artist co-directed with Christopher Hesketh and Becky Hern. Check it out below. “The song is about how being independent and making money requires hard work, so most of the time we’re not free to just enjoy life, our families and friends,” Yendry explained in a statement. “It’s good to make ourselves unavailable in order to take care of us and celebrate life.” Last year, Yendry shared collaborations with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley (“You”) and J Balvin (“Instinto”). After debuting it at Coachella 2022, Doja Cat has shared her a new song “Vegas.” The single will appear on the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic, which hits theaters June 24. …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead have announced their first album in two years. The record, titled XI: Bleed Here Now, is out July 15 via Dine Alone. The first two singles from the LP are “No Confidence” and “Salt in Your Eyes,” and you can hear them below. Trail of Dead co-founders Conrad Keely and Jason Reece produced XI: Bleed Here Now with Charles Godfrey, who co-produced the band’s 2020 album X: The Godless Void and Other Stories. On the new album, Keely sang, played guitar, keyboards, and piano, and provided programming. Reece also contributed vocals, as well as drums and guitar.
