Ryan Michael Reavis, one of the three men charged in the September 2018 death of Mac Miller, has been sentenced to 10 years and 11 months in prison. Rolling Stone reports that Reavis, 39, referred to himself as the middle man who gave another drug dealer the fentanyl-laced oxycodone pills that killed the rapper. David Freel, best known as the vocalist and guitarist of the San Francisco rock band Swell, died Tuesday (April 12). The band confirmed the news on Facebook; no cause of death has been reported. He was 64. Born January 31, 1958, Freel formed Swell in 1989 after meeting drummer Sean Kirkpatrick. Ryan Michael Reavis, who previously agreed to plead guilty to distribution of fentanyl in the federal case involving the 2018 death of Mac Miller, has been sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison, Rolling Stone reports and court documents confirm.
