BTS Will Release Its Tenth Studio Album in June
BTS has announced the release date of their next studio album, Billboard reported. The news was shared as the Korean boy band wrapped up the final show of their “Permission to Dance On Stage” Las Vegas residency. The residency saw BTS play four concerts across the past two weekends at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. At the final event on Saturday night, the group played a teaser video showing black-and-white clips of each member — Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook — after which they said “We Are Bulletproof” in unison, per Billboard. Metal veterans Anthrax and Black Label Society are teaming up for a co-headlining North American tour this Summer. Rounding out the bill are hardcore metallers Hatebreed. Rosalía Announces 2022 “Motomami World Tour”
Rosalía is taking her incredible new album, Motomami, on an extensive world tour. The 15-country outing includes dates across North and South America, the UK, and Europe. Appropriately, the tour launches in Rosalía’s native Spain with a 10-date run in July. She’ll then play shows in Mexico and South America in August and early September, before embarking on a North American leg starting in Mid-September. 100 gecs’ Set Ends Abruptly at Coachella 2022
On Saturday, 100 gecs made their Coachella debut—unfortunately, it was cut a bit short. The duo of Dylan Brady and Laura Les were in the middle of performing “Money Machine” from their 2019 sophomore album 1000 gecs when crew members started rolling pieces of equipment offstage. Then, the sound abruptly cut out. The crowd shouted “gecs! gecs! gecs!” before Brady and Les retreated backstage. Representatives for the band offered no comment when reached by Pitchfork.
