Robert Eggers’ Viking revenge epic The Northman hits theaters next Friday (April 22), and, today, Focus Features has released a new clip from the film centering on Björk’s character, the Seeress. Watch Björk relay a prophesy to Alexander Skarsgård’s character, Amleth, at NME. The Northman is Eggers’ third feature, following 2015’s The Witch and 2019’s The Lighthouse. Eggers penned the screenplay for The Northman alongside Icelandic poet Sjón, who has co-written songs with Björk. For the film score, Eggers enlisted Tri Angle Records founder Robin Carolan and Sebastian Gainsborough, known for his work as Vessel. Future has revealed that his next album will arrive later this month. In a new Instagram post, Future confirmed that the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2020’s High Off Life will land April 29. “Date 4.29 title TBA,” Future wrote. Check out his post here. The rapper first teased that new music was on the way earlier this year. Shortly after the release of High Off Life, Future linked up with Lil Uzi Vert for their joint LP Pluto x Baby Pluto. Since then, Future has kept plenty busy. He appeared on song Moneybagg Yo’s single “Hard for the Next,” as well as Drake’s Certified Lover Boy cut “Way 2 Sexy.” Future also executive produced Kanye West’s latest album Donda 2, providing vocals on that project’s “Keep It Burning.” Earlier this year, Future dropped a video for his newest song “Worst Day.” ...

Daft Punk have shared the storyboards from their 1997 “Around the World” music video. The original clip was directed by Michel Gondry, who would go on to helm films like Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, as well as visuals for the likes of Massive Attack, Björk, Radiohead, and many more. “Around the World” appeared on Daft Punk’s iconic debut album Homework. The duo first issued the storyboard video on the 1997 DVD release of D.A.F.T. Check out the storyboards in the clip below. Andy Kaufman is the subject of a forthcoming as yet untitled feature documentary, as The Hollywood Reporter notes. Morgan Neville, who directed the Anthony Bourdain documentary Roadrunner, is producing the project, with Alex Braverman as its director.  Josh and Benny Safdie’s Elara Pictures is credited as an executive producer, according to THR, as well as Rick Rubin. The film also includes input from Robert Zmuda, who worked closely with Kaufman during his lifetime. Preferring to be called an “entertainer” rather than a comedian or actor, Kaufman was known for his unusual antics, which revolved around wrestling bits and often involved music.
