Donald Glover to Star In & Produce Spider-Man Movie Based on Hypno-Hustler Villain

Donald Glover is finally getting a Spider-Man movie. It’s just not quite what you think. Glover is attached to star and produce a feature set in Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man universe of Marvel Comics characters, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.  Myles Murphy, the son of actor and comedian Eddie Murphy, is on board to write the project, which has no title but is said to revolve on the Hypno-Hustler, one of the more obscure Spider-Man villains. Sure, Halloween is long gone and we’re actually just nine days away from Christmas, but Katy Perry isn’t putting a good costume to waste. Helen Mirren plays Kendrick Lamar’s therapist in the new visual for “Count Me Out.” Lamar directed and executive produced the video alongside his pgLang collaborator Dave Free. “Kendrick, Kendrick,” Mirren says to Lamar. “Did you hear what I just said?” The rapper, meanwhile, sits at the piano bench with his head in his hands, before he turns around to resume his therapy session. After a bit of banter between Mirren and Lamar, the video cuts to a montage of footage showing snaps of his of daily life, from laughing with friends to signing contracts. Interspersed is Lamar performing in front of a crowd as a messiah-like figure in the desert. According to TMZ, 24-year-old Isaiah Lee, was just sentenced to nine months in Los Angeles County Jail after pleading no contest to entering a restricted area during a live event and battery, both of which are misdemeanors. Crowd Crush at O2 Academy Brixton Leaves 4 Critically Injured

A crowd crush at the doors of London’s O2 Academy Brixton last night led eight people to be hospitalized, four of whom were in critical condition, The Guardian and The New York Times report. Larger than expected crowds had descended upon the 5,000-capacity venue, some without tickets, according to reports. Videos on social media and BBC News show a teeming crowd gathered outside with no flow in or out of the venue, as hundreds tried to gain entry to the final concert of Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake’s three-night residency. At 9:35 p.m., police arrived in response to reports of forced entry to the venue, and found several people with apparent crushing injuries. Apocalyptica Unveil “Rise Again” Featuring Epica Singer Simone Simons: Stream

Finnish metal cellists Apocalyptica have unleashed a new single, “Rise Again,” featuring vocals from Simone Simons of Dutch symphonic metal band Epica.
