LINKIN PARK’s ‘Numb’ Surpasses One Billion Streams On SPOTIFY

LINKIN PARK‘s hit song “Numb” has surpassed one billion views on Spotify. It’s the band’s second track to reach that mark, following on from “In The End” which hit the milestone last June. Back in November 2018, the music video for “Numb” surpassed one billion views on YouTube. Following the death of singer Chester Bennington in July 2017, fans of the group launched an unofficial campaign to get the “Numb” video to that milestone, a mission that was completed nearly a year and a half later. “Numb” is taken from LINKIN PARK‘s 2003 sophomore album “Meteora”. It was the 13th and final song on the LP and was released as the third single from the record. It topped the Alternative chart for 12 weeks a...

Dread Reaver – ABBATH

RATING: 8/10 Banished from the frostbitten IMMORTAL nest, Abbath (the man) and ABBATH (the band) have made light work of establishing themselves as a fiercely independent creative force in extreme metal. Although not quite as brashly definitive as the illustrious classics that made the Norwegian so notorious, both 2016’s self-titled debut and 2019’s “Outstrider” were full of blistering, bombastic moments, all still rooted in the thunderous, fervently pitch-black heavy metal that seems to ooze from the singer / guitarist’s every pore. As you might expect, “Dread Reaver” offers no radical departures, and we should all be thoroughly grateful for that. There are few things more exciting than the sound of Abbath (the man) at full pelt, and the opening &...

Prepare for another entry in The Carrie Diaries because And Just Like That… has been renewed for Season 2 by HBO Max. The Sex and the City sequel series centers on original leads Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) as they face their 50s and all of the unforeseen trials and tribulations that accompany it. The series premiere boasted the most-watched debut episode for the streamer — in no small part due to the shocking twist that tanked Peloton’s stock. In an official statement, series creator and showrunner Michael Patrick King said, “I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just ...

Modest Mouse and Johnny Marr Are Working Together Again

It’s no secret Johnny Marr enjoyed his time in Modest Mouse from 2006 to 2009. In a new interview with Spin reflecting upon the 15th anniversary of We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, Modest Mouse’s frontman Isaac Brock revealed they’ve (remotely) reunited with Marr to work on new material together. “We’ve already started working on some stuff together,” Brock said. “We just finished a song, ‘Rivers of Rivers’ — actually I think it’s just ‘Rivers of…’ — but it’s in a pen-pal sort of way. International travel isn’t what it once was at the moment.” Marr added, “I played on that new Modest Mouse song, and there are a couple of other things knocking around that Isaac’s writing. As Isaac said, air travel isn’t quite what it was. But hopefully, when the world tilts back on its axis, I’ll be ...

Sandra Bullock Says She Regrets Making Speed 2: “I’m Still Embarrassed”

In her upcoming film The Lost City, Sandra Bullock plays a romance novelist whose go-to cover model (Channing Tatum) isn’t always too proud of his work. Bullock herself can relate to being ashamed of a past project: In a recent interview with TooFab, the actress admitted that she still has some regrets about signing on to the notoriously awful Speed 2: Cruise Control. The topic came up when the interviewer asked Bullock and her co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, if they had any past projects of which they were initially embarrassed, but eventually made peace with after seeing fans’ positive reactions. Radcliffe confessed that strutting around in a Hogwarts uniform on the set of Harry Potter didn’t always make him feel too chic, but he obviously grew to realize how spe...

Tucker Carlson Partied in Kid Rock’s “Cadillac Pussy VIP Room”

Tucker Carlson likes to play a moral arbiter on TV, but over the weekend the FOX News personality loosened his tie and had some fun in Kid Rock’s “Cadillac Pussy VIP Room.” On Saturday, Carlson paid a visit to Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk restaurant and bar in Nashville — yes, the same Big Ass Honky Tonk where an inebriated patron famously swung his colostomy bag at police. Per TMZ, Carlson spent some time in Rock’s salaciously named “Cadillac Pussy VIP Room,” before taking in a live performance from the Bad Reputation musician. Advertisement Related Video At some point over the weekend, Rock also sat down for an interview with Carlson and revealed that Donald Trump had solicited his advice on North Korea and ISIS. Meanwhile, Carlson lauded Rock for being “legendary” and “uncancelable.” The t...
