Following the release of his latest record, Luv 4 Rent, last week, Smino on Thursday dropped off a fresh visual for “90 Proof,” his collaborative track with J. Cole. Directed by Philip Youmans, the music video, which runs six and a half minutes long, features picturesque shots of both Smino and Cole posing with a vintage vehicle, spending time with friends at an intimate house party and playing an innocent game of Uno at the park. Drake and 21 Savage Unveil ‘Her Loss’ Tracklist Hours Before Album Release
Drake and 21 Savage are still dropping teasers for their highly-anticipated collaborative LP, Her Loss, with just a few hours to go before its debut. Earlier today, the two rappers continued to drum up excitement by sharing the tracklist for the project. Laid over an oversaturated image of a woman holding what looks to be an OVO-branded soda, the tracklist shows 16 songs in total. The album will open with “Rich Flex,” followed by “Major Distribution,” “On BS,” “Backoutsideboyz” and “Prilived Rappers,” among others. The tracklist doesn’t show any features, if there are any at all. Durham, North Carolina singer-songwriter H.C. McEntire has announced a new album album: Every Acre is due out January 27 via Merge. The album was co-produced by McEntire, Missy Thangs, and Luke Norton, and includes collaborative tracks from S.G. Goodman and Amy Ray. Along with the announcement, McEntire has also shared a lyric video for a new song called “Dovetail.” In the visual, the songwriter assembles the song line by line from strips of paper containing the lyrics, as the video cuts to shots of McEntire maintaining her typewriter.
