Kanye West’s private school is closing for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year, The Times reports. The school’s principal, Jason Angell, reportedly emailed students’ parents, “Our leadership team will be working diligently to assist all families during this transition, ensuring that every scholar has what they need to succeed in their next community in a prompt and gracious manner.” Donda Academy opened last year and is the subject of great mystery, with families reportedly required to sign nondisclosure agreements to send their children to the school. Mogwai will release their landmark first two albums, Mogwai Young Team and Come on Die Young, on double gatefold vinyl next year. Out February 10 via Chemikal Underground, the 1997 and ’99 albums will come on blue and white vinyl, respectively, and keep their original tracklists. The former, which has been remastered, will also be reissued on CD and digitally. Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite recently released a memoir, Spaceships Over Glasgow: Mogwai and Misspent Youth, about “teenage idiocy, life in general, gigs and playing in Mogwai.” Twenty-five years into their career, the Scottish post-rockers scored their first UK No. 1 with their last record, As the Love Continues. Brockhampton has announced their final album, The Family. It’s due out November 17 via Question Everything and RCA Records. Find teasers for the project, as well as the cover artwork, below. The group teased the final album at their Coachella performance in April: After leaving the stage, they played a clip of Kevin Abstract meeting with his bandmates and discussing the last Brockhampton LP. The video cut to a graphic that read: “Final Album. 2022.” The group has been on an “indefinite hiatus” since the performance, having canceled all of its previously-announced 2022 dates except for two shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton in February and both weekends of Coachella. Nakhane has shared their new song “Do You Well,” featuring Perfume Genius. Produced by Emre Türkmen with additional production by Nile Rodgers, the new track follows July’s “Tell Me Your Politik,” featuring Rodgers and Moonchild Sanelly. Check out the new Jordan Rossi–directed clip for “Do You Well” below. Of the collaboration with Perfume Genius, Nakhane said in a statement: I always thought singing with him would be a beautiful thing.
