Bryan Cranston “Heading” Possible Malcolm in the Middle Reboot, Says Frankie Muniz

Bryan Cranston could be headed back to his days as a hapless sitcom dad with a potential reboot of Malcolm in the Middle. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, his co-star Frankie Muniz said Cranston was leading an effort to get “everything rolling” with a revival, which includes being involved with the script. Now 36 years old, Muniz said that he’s now watched all seven seasons and 151 episodes of Malcolm in the Middle with his wife. With all the time that’s passed since the show aired, he’s been able to separate himself from being on the sitcom and watch it as a fan. “I would love to know what the family’s up to,” Muniz told Fox News Digital. “I know Bryan Cranston is really into the idea and he’s kind of heading writing the script and getting everything rolling. So, there mi...

Unknown Mortal Orchestra Announce 2023 Tour Dates, Share “I Killed Captain Cook”: Stream

Unknown Mortal Orchestra return today with the new single “I Killed Captain Cook” and its accompanying music video. Additionally, the psych-rock project led by Ruban Nielson has unveiled North American and UK tour dates for 2023, their first outing in four years. When he was a child, Nielson’s mother would tell him the story of Captain James Cook, the English explorer known for colonizing Polynesia and attempting to kidnap Hawaiian chief Kalaniʻōpuʻu before ultimately meeting his demise in Hawaii. The aptly-titled “I Killed Captain Cook” is told from the perspective of the Hawaiian who rightfully killed Cook in defense of their homeland: “One of the many lies that they told/ Was that they were divine and fair/ With Cook’s blood on my hand/ The spell was broken there,” goes the final v...

Nita Strauss Unleashes New Song “The Wolf You Feed” Featuring Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz: Stream

Guitarist Nita Strauss has unveiled the new single “The Wolf You Feed” featuring Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz, along with an accompanying music video. Strauss and White-Gluz make for a mighty duo on the hard-hitting track. Strauss lays down dynamic riffs and the masterful shredding she became known for as the lead guitarist in Alice Cooper’s touring band. Meanwhile, White-Gluz wields her imitable harsh-clean vocal style, which will be immediately recognizable to fans of her work in Arch Enemy. The track follows Strauss’ 2021 rock hit “Dead Inside,” which featured Disturbed’s David Draiman. It would seem Strauss is set on tapping A-list vocalists for her as-yet-unannounced second solo album, with “The Wolf You Feed” fulfilling the guitarist’s longtime desire to collaborate with Aliss...

When We Were Young Festival Makes Nostalgic Debut with Paramore, My Chemical Romance and More: Photo Gallery

After an unfortunately-canceled first day, When We Were Young’s inaugural festival finally kicked off this past Sunday (October 23rd) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Featuring a much-lauded, all-star lineup of emo, pop-punk, and indie rock, the festival overcame high expectations and extreme weather to deliver a day’s worth of nostalgic, angsty fun. Check out photos of the day below, featuring shots of Jimmy Eat World, Avril Lavigne, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, and more. From its announcement, When We Were Young was both hotly anticipated and heavily scrutinized. Skeptics pointed towards the relatively large size of the lineup for a single-day festival, predicting artist cancelations, general chaos, and conditions akin to Fyre Festival. While it might have seemed like the detractors wer...

NBA YoungBoy Signs New Deal With Motown Records

After fulfilling his contractual obligations with Atlantic Records over the summer, NBA YoungBoy has found a new label. The Baton Rouge rapper has signed a deal with Motown, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. In the past, YoungBoy was notably critical of Atlantic, using social media to caution other artists against signing with them. He allegedly wrapped up his contract with them following the release of August’s 30-track The Last Slimeto. YoungBoy was already familiar with Motown, which houses his Never Broke Again imprint, representing up-and-coming rappers such as Quando Rondo and NoCap. While the exact details of the rapper’s solo deal with Motown weren’t revealed, Variety reported that sources said that his “signing was highly competitive.” The deal officially goes into effect in ...

Kanye West Claims Quentin Tarantino Got ‘Django Unhchained’ From Him

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Rachpoot/Bauer-Griffin / Getty Director Quentin Tarantino and actor Jamie Foxx are now the next targets of Ye aka Kanye West’s rants, as he claims that they got the idea of Django Unchained from him. While appearing as a guest on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Ye was at times combative, sparring with Morgan often. Seven minutes into the interview on Oct. 21, Morgan asked: “Do you believe there are limits to free speech, and if there are, what are they?” The rapper and fashion designer cited Django Unchained as an example that there are no limits to free speech, given that the film is laden with racial slurs and graphic depictions of slavery and it is still embraced by viewing audiences. He’d continue, making the claim that the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood dire...
