Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears have been accused of child sexual abuse in a new lawsuit that claims the comedians forced minors to perform sexually suggestive acts for sketch videos. As The Daily Beast reports, a Jane Doe has filed the suit on behalf of herself and her younger brother. In the suit, Jane, now 22, and her brother, now 14, recount their mother making friends with Haddish through mutual comedy circles and Haddish presenting the children with work opportunities. However, the videos the children recorded with the comedians were inappropriate. In the summer of 2013, when Jane was 14, Haddish allegedly enlisted the child to record a commercial that Spears was producing. When she got to the shoot, Haddish and Spears showed her a video of kids eating a sub sandwich in a sugge...
Fat Mike has announced that NOFX will break up in 2023. In the comments of an August 31st Instagram post, the singer and bassist said “next year will be our last year.” While NOFX have yet to produce an official breakup announcement, Fat Mike (born Michael Burkett) felt confident enough in their plans that he essentially revealed the news unprompted. A fan commented on an unrelated Instagram post about the hardcore band not coming to Canada enough while on tour, and Fat Mike responded, “Actually, We love Canada, it’s just that next year will be our last year. We will be announcing our final shows soon. It’s been an amazing run….” Once fans picked up on the news, another user asked if NOFX would play in Los Angeles before breaking up. To that comment, Fat Mike responded, “Los Angeles will b...
After announcing a hiatus earlier this year, country duo Florida Georgia Line played their last show together at the Minnesota State Fair on Thursday (August 31st). Tyler Hubbard confirmed he and Brian Kelley were “taking a break” in February, but breakup rumors have followed Florida Georgia Line since 2020, when the artists had a rather public disagreement regarding the election. While Hubbard had been a vocal critic of President Trump, and his wife, Hayley, posted her support of Vice President Kamala Harris, Kelley swung in the other direction, hinting at his support of the outgoing president. Eventually, Hubbard and his wife unfollowed Kelley on Instagram altogether, with Hubbard confirming that he simply didn’t want to see Kelley’s posts about Trump. “I unfollowed BK for a few days whi...
Nicki Minaj has dropped off the official music video for her chart-topping track, “Super Freaky Girl.” The visual, directed by Joseph Kahn, sees Minaj cosplay as Rick James, whose 1981 hit “Super Freak” is sampled on the single. She also appears as an animated, knife-obsessed Nicki Barbie, complete with a robotic pet dog, a head-to-toe pink fit and her very own Ken, played by Alexander Ludwig. The video arrives after Minaj accepted the Video Vanguard Award at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, where she also performed a decades-spanning medley of some of her most popular tracks, which included “Super Freaky Girl” and her fan-favorite “Monster” verse. Following its release, “Super Freaky Girl” earned a total of 21.1 million streams, 4.6 million radio airplay audience impressions and 89,000 do...
This week, Megan Thee Stallion guest-starred in Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law series on Disney+. The rapper appeared briefly in the third episode of the show, first as a shapeshifting elf that takes the form of Megan Thee Stallion to defraud an associate of She-Hulk. During the trial of said liar, the rapper appeared as herself to jeer the elf. “There’s only one Megan Thee Stallion,” she declares before delivering her signature tongue-out taunt (“ah!”). A post-credits scene features the rapper hiring She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) as her lawyer. Together, they twerk in celebration to “Body.” Watch the clip below. Last month, Megan released the album Traumazine, which features the tracks “Her,” “Plan B,” “Pressurelicious,” a collaboration with Future, and more. The She-Hulk cameo is the pa...
