Rhye’s Michael Milosh Sues Ex-Wife’s Attorneys, Claiming Malicious Prosecution

Michael Milosh of Rhye filed a lawsuit on Tuesday (August 30) against the lawyers of his ex-wife Alexa Nikolas, who sued Milosh in 2021 for sexual battery, gender violence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and a violation of California’s Tom Bane Civil Rights Act. Milosh sued the attorneys for malicious prosecution, calling it a “frivolous” lawsuit without “legal basis or factual support,” court documents viewed by Pitchfork confirm.  The lawsuit is hinged on the fact that Nikolas’ lawsuit was dropped in May; court documents from earlier this year confirm this is the case. Nikolas has told Rolling Stone and Consequence that she plans to re-file her lawsuit. “In an effort to extort money, garner fame, and drum-up new business, [the lawyers] filed a frivolous lawsuit agains...

Ali Gatie Talks New Album, Collaborating With Kehlani & More

Ali Gatie is fresh off the release of his new album, Who Hurt You?, and ahead of embarking on tour to support his new music, he sat down with Billboard‘s Tetris Kelly to talk creativity, his collaboration with Kehlani and more. “There’s always that pressure of trying to beat yourself,” he said of making music after having two hits — “It’s You” and “What If I Told You That I Love You” on the Billboard Hot 100. “Sometimes, it’s numbers-wise but also creative-wise. ‘It’s You’ is one of my favorite songs, and there’s times in the studio where you’re trying to beat that song, but that’s always the wrong mentality. It clouds your judgement. I try to write songs without worrying about how it’s going to do numbers-wise. I write it from my heart. The fans choose the hits, and the universe...

Viral Hip-Hop Artist YNG Martyr Signs With Warner Music, Unleashes ‘It Happened’

And I hope that the next 16-year-old from their small town who comes to Hollywood one day, full of hopes and dreams, sees this star and thinks to themself, ‘O...

Over a decade later, it seems the pursuit of happiness is still ongoing. Longtime fans will surely remember Steve Aoki‘s remix of Kid Cudi‘s timeless track, “Pursuit of Happiness,” which became a generational dance anthem after its 2009 release. And 13 years later, it seems the two crossover superstars have maintained a close collaborative relationship. “We became really close friends on his first tour in America,” Aoki told Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1 in a recent interview, wherein he praised Cudi as a “micro-detailed” musician. “I mean 10 years later, 10 plus years later is still the banger of my side. EDM.com Presents: The House Brew, Vol. 13

“Grapevine” – Lane 8 feat. Elderbrook Elderbrook’s tender vocals float gently above Lane 8’s bustling instrumentation on “Grapevine.” The song’s sentimental character is a result of a personal backstory. “Back when I was living in San Francisco after college, I used to regularly take road trips down to LA to visit friends (and usually go to a lot of raves),” Lane 8 wrote on Instagram. “I had a good job but I felt unfulfilled, and those trips came to provide meaning to my life as I started to figure out my purpose. part of the drive to LA is the infamous grapevine, which is where the chorus and title of this song come from.
