Marvel’s Kevin Feige Teases Harry Styles’ Return as Eros to Marvel Cinematic Universe
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is teasing Harry Styles‘ return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The former One Direction star made his debut in the MCU as the character Eros during a post-credits scene in the 2021 movie Eternals. Eros, also known as Starfox, is the brother of supervillain Thanos. In the brief clip, Styles appears alongside the small, furry CGI character Pip, who is voiced by Patton Oswalt. During an interview at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Feige hinted that Styles’ would return as Eros in the “cosmic” part of the MCU, but didn’t specify any specific films or television shows. Netflix to Start Charging “Extra Home” Fee for Sharing Accounts Between Households
Netflix is cracking down on users mooching off of their family members, friends, and exes: This summer, the streamer will begin to implement an “extra home” fee for those using the same account with people they don’t live with. The small fee, which equates to about $2 or $3, will go into effect on August 22th in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. “If your Netflix account is being used on a TV outside of your home, you will need to pay an extra $2.99 per month for each extra home. The sequel to Black Panther—Ryan Coogler’s Oscar-nominated superhero film based on the Marvel comic—has received its first trailer. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features many of the actors who starred in the original 2018 film, such as Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and more. Tom Morello Accidentally Tackled by Security Guard at Rage Against the Machine Show
Rage Against the Machine have had a bumpy start to their long-awaited reunion tour. Earlier this month at their Chicago gig, vocalist Zack de la Rocha appeared to injure his leg and has been performing while seated ever since. Now, guitarist Tom Morello has suffered a bit of a tumble, as TMZ and Rolling Stone point out. Last night (July 23), during the band’s show in Toronto, a security guard was apparently chasing down a man who had rushed onto the stage. As the security guard tackled the stage crasher, he also made contact with Morello, knocking the guitarist down as the band performed “Killing in the Name.” De la Rocha briefly stopped the show, saying, “hold up, hold up, hold up” as he waited to see if Morello was ok. Morello was then helped to his feet and returned to his post onstage....
