Ye (Kanye West) is facing a new lawsuit that claims he owes $7.1 million in unpaid fees to a production company that worked on his Donda 2 release show as well as his canceled Coachella performance. The Recording Academy has announced the date and venue for the 2023 Grammy Awards. The ceremony is currently slated to take place on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The Grammys last took place at the venue formerly known as Staples Center in 2020. And the show last occurred on a February date in 2019. The 2023 ceremony will broadcast live on CBS and stream live on Paramount+. The 2022 Grammy Awards took place this past April at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Recording Academy had initial planned for the 2022 Grammys to occur in January, but pushed back the ceremony due to concerns about the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
