Cardi B Delivers Music Video for “Hot Sh*t” Feat. Kanye and Lil Durk

After dropping “Hot Shit” Feat. Kanye West and Lil Durk, Cardi B has now returned to deliver a music video for the Tay Keith-produced track. Serving as Cardi B’s first release since 2021’s “Up” and first single of 2022, “Hot Sh*t” is expected to be the lead single of her highly-anticipated sophomore studio album. Directed by Lado Kvataniya, the new music video places the three artists in striking CGI scenes that lean on a fanciful aesthetic. Cardi kicks off the visual by standing high above, on the top of the building before wall walking on the side of the structure. During her verse, the artist is also seen being set ablaze by two robotic arms and decked in iced-out jewelry in interjecting scenes. Marcus Mumford’s Debut Solo Album Features Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo, Blake Mills, and More

Marcus Mumford has announced that his solo debut album will be released later this year. In a handwritten note posted to the vocalist’s social media accounts, Mumford wrote that the album, (Self-Titled), was produced by Blake Mills and includes guests appearances from Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo, and Monica Martin. “In January 2021, facing demons I danced with or a long time in solution, I wrote a song called ‘Cannibal,’” Mumford explained. “I took it to my friend Blake Mills, and we began the process of making this album, dear to my heart, called (Self-Titled).” (Self-titled) is due out on September 16. Descendents React to Former Oath Keeper Testifying at Jan. 6 Committee in Band T-Shirt

Jason Van Tatenhove is a former spokesman for the far-right paramilitary group the Oath Keepers. He testified today (July 12) before the House committee investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Van Tatenhove wore a Descendents T-shirt while delivering his testimony, leading the band to tweet: “We completely disavow groups like the Oath Keepers and in no way condone their hateful ideology.” Many people have reacted to Van Tatenhove’s attire. “Am I hallucinating that this Oath Keeper testifying before congress is wearing a Descendents t-shirt? I just had hernia surgery so this may be the painkillers,” comedian Chris Gethard wrote on Twitter. Cardi B’s dropped her latest single “Hot Shit”—which features Kanye West and Lil Durk—earlier this month, and now the Bronx rapper is back with a new video for the track. The visual shows Cardi walking up along the side of a building and appearing atop a skyline. Durk and Kanye also appear in the visual. Phoebe Bridgers appeared on The Beat with Ari Melber today, discussing her vocal stance on women’s rights and abortion. Bridgers noted that one dollar from each of her ticket sales is being donated to the Mariposa Fund, an abortion fund in Santa Fe, New Mexico. “I hate that the responsibility has been thrown on these grassroots organizations, instead of the government,” she told Melber.
