Faith No More Announce Brief Run of 2021 US Headlining Shows

Faith No More have booked a brief run of US headlining shows around two previously announced high-profile 2021 festival appearances. Fucked Up will provide support at the newly announced gigs. As reported recently, Faith No More will perform at Riot Fest in Chicago on September 18th and Slipknot’s Knotfest Iowa on September 25th. Since the band will already be geared up and ready to go, they’ve added headlining shows in Maryland Heights, Missouri, on September 16th; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on September 21st; and Newport, Kentucky on September 22nd. OMD Announce 2022 US Tour Dates

OMD — a.k.a. Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark — have announced a headlining tour for spring 2022. The “Souvenir Tour” will celebrate the British electronic band’s greatest hits over their expansive four-decade history. OMD will be hitting major North American cities in support of Souvenir, their massive 40th anniversary box set that came out in 2019. All told, the tour spans 24 dates taking place over April and May of next year. To tide fans over until 2022, OMD are also playing a livestream concert on June 19th called “You Me & OMD”. All proceeds from the livestream will be split among members of the band’s touring crew, who have been out of work since February 2020 because of the pandemic. Code Orange are working on new songs with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. The alt-rock vet posted a picture with members of Code Orange in the studio, though little else is known about the collaboration so far. “Excited to share I’ve been working with Code Orange some on their blistering new songs,” Corgan shared on his Instagram story. It’s possible that Corgan is helping produce or co-write a few Code Orange tracks, or maybe he’s just contributing instrumentals or vocals to some new songs. A notable caveat is that Code Orange and Corgan share the same management, Velvet Hammer. The mysterious rollout of Tyler, the Creator’s new album continues with “Side Street”, a 40-second teaser with a twist ending. Album clues began dropping last week with a secretive website and billboard that seemed to promote something entitled Call Me if You Get Lost. “Side Street” doesn’t offer much new context, unless you think of the sunny woodwinds as an insight into Tyler’s sonic palette. Instead, it’s more of a skit. The rapper is seen on the hood of a pink car, holding a dog’s leash and kissing a woman.
