In case you missed the memo, Tyler, the Creator season is officially in full swing, culminating in the release of his new album Call Me If You Get Lost this Friday. The rapper has shared another preview of the record today with the lovesick track “WUSYANAME”. Damon Albarn Announces New Album The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows

Damon Albarn has officially announced his sophomore solo album, The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows. It’s out November 12th via Transgressive Records, and he also shared the title track and revealed rescheduled 2022 tour dates. Originally intended as an orchestral piece inspired by the landscapes of Iceland, the Gorillaz mastermind revisited the project during COVID-19 lockdown and further developed it to explore themes of fragility, loss, emergence, and rebirth. The title is taken from John Clare’s poem Love and Memory. “I have been on my own dark journey while making this record and it led me to believe that a pure source might still exist,” Albarn said about The Nearer the Fountain in a press statement. Helado Negro has announced the new album Far In. As a preview of the October 22nd release, the artist born Roberto Carlos Lange has shared the disco-tinged single “Gemini and Leo”. The follow-up to 2019’s This Is How You Smile, Far In will be Lange’s debut album on 4AD. The 15-track effort features guest vocals by Kacy Hill, Buscabulla, and Benamin, though that’s not the only talent on display. “Gemini and Leo” boasts a bass line courtesy of Jenn Wasner (Wye Oak, Flock of Dimes), and backing vocals from Zenizen’s Opal Hoyt. AFI Announce 2022 US Tour in Support of New Album Bodies

AFI have announced an early 2022 US headlining tour in support of their new album Bodies. Darkwave act Cold Cave will be along for the 26-date outing.
