Nick Cannon’s anti-Semitic comments may have cost him a gig with ViacomCBS, but he remains employed by Fox. The network has confirmed that Cannon will continue to host its widely popular reality singing series, The Masked Singer. “When we were made aware of Nick Cannon’s interview with Richard Griffin on YouTube, we immediately began a dialogue with Nick,” FOX said in a statement on Thursday. “He is clear and remorseful that his words were wrong and lacked both understanding and context, and inadvertently promoted hate. Body of Glee Actress Naya Rivera Recovered in California Lake

The body of Glee actress Naya Rivera was recovered in Lake Piru in Ventura Country, California on Monday, five days after she first went missing. Search and rescue members of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department found Rivera’s body in the early morning hours of Monday. Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub believes Rivera’s death was the result of an accidental drowning, as there was no indication of foul play or suicide. Autopsy results are forthcoming. Ventura County Sheriff’s Department began a search for Rivera after her four-year-old son was found floating alone in a rented boat in Lake Piru on Wednesday, July 8th. Empire Actor Bryshere Gray Charged With Felony Assault

Empire actor Bryshere Gray has been charged with felony aggravated assault after allegedly attacking his wife. The Goodyear Police Department in Goodyear, Arizona said Gray was arrested on Monday after they received a 911 call about a woman who had been assaulted for several hours by her husband, whom was identified as Gray. The woman, who had multiple visible injuries, told officers that Gray strangled her and that she had temporarily lost consciousness, according to USA Today. After officers arrived outside of Gray’s home, a short standoff ensued. Eventually, SWAT and crisis negotiators were able to convince Gray to exit his home and surrender. Mythbusters host Grant Imahara has died at the age of 49 after suffering a brain aneurysm. “We are heartbroken to hear this sad news about Grant,” a representative for Discovery Channel said in a statement. “He was an important part of our Discovery family and a really wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.” An electrical engineer and roboticist by training, Imahara spent the early part of his career working at Lucasfilm. John Mulaney is officially returning to Comedy Central for two new specials. Headlined and executive produced by Mulaney himself, both specials will be continuations of John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch, his Netflix special released last December. That 2019 children’s musical comedy project was inspired by TV classics like Sesame Street and boasted cameos from David Byrne, Jake Gyllenhaal, Natasha Lyonne, and more.
