MTV Studios To Re-Imagine Clone High

“Say whaaaaaat?” Clone High is back! MTV Studios (part of the Entertainment and Youth Group), a unit of ViacomCBS, announced today that Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning creators Phil Lord and Chris Miller will re-imagine the iconic Clone High television series with Emmy-nominated co-creator Bill Lawrence. It’s time to return to school! Together with MTV and Erica Rivinoja, the trio will reunite to develop and produce new episodes of the animated show, which was widely regarded as a time capsule of the early 2000s with its loving satire and wry parody of emo culture. Rivinoja, who was a writer on the original series will serve as showrunner and will co-write the pilot with Lord and Miller. Like the original, the re-imagined Clone High will explore high school and com...

‘You Don’t Deserve That’: Will Alyssa — And Her Baby — Be Treated Right On Siesta Key?

Alyssa was “ready to forgive” Alex for hooking up with Juliette “several several times” in Nashville. And during this week’s episode, the Siesta Key newbie learned she would soon be a mom with the King of Sarasota. First order of business for Alyssa: telling her parents Allison and Nick that they would soon be grandparents (viewers saw the rekindled lovebirds react to positive pregnancy tests at the end of last season as well). Nope, this isn’t the time for Rosé — and yes, Mom, this is “serious.” With her heart pounding, Alyssa simply nodded as her mother asked if she was pregnant. While Dad got up immediately to give his girl a big embrace and a hearty “I love you,” Mom was concerned for her daughter. “I’m still...

Amazon Prime Video is a maze. Like its global namesake, the streaming service is a digital jungle of titles. That’s why each month Consequence of Sound puts together a full list of new TV and film titles being dropped into the thick of it. July 2020 is not so good, Al. There’s the second season of Hanna, Vivarium is finally streaming without the VOD charge, and, um, we can all revisit the time Owen Wilson got swallowed whole by a snake in 1997’s Anaconda. In terms of other Flicks We’d Maybe Revisit on Rainy Days During the Summer, there’s Michael Mann’s Ali, Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects, David Fincher’s Panic Room, and Adam Sandler’s underrated turn in Spanglish. Check out the entire list below and act accordingly. To help round out your streaming sessions, be sure to read our recent g...

In a recent interview with MTV in which he detailed his top musical inspirations, the Assassination of Gianni Versace star revealed he frequently turns to K-pop greats like BTS and Blackpink for inspiration. In fact, there’s actually a “huge K-pop song” featured in Royalties, his new comedy series from Quibi satirizing the world of songwriting. “There’s this just sort of outrageousness and just in your face-ness to those songs, which are always really cool and sophisticated,” Criss told MTV. The Glee alum added that he listens to “a lot” of K-pop, and he thinks superfans will really appreciate his nods to the genre as Pierce, his Royalties alter-ego. Each episode of the series, in which Criss stars alo...

These symptoms interfered with all aspects of my life, stunting my career aspirations, and robbing me of countless simple pleasures.” While it’s been over 40 years since the alleged abuse started, Pacc...

During tonight’s brand-new episode, Brandon, Nicky and Antonio attempted to go out sans the girls (B-Lashes and Derynn opted to stay in post-jumping in the pool after the gang’s first day of work at Drai’s). But the plan to divert the ladies elsewhere and party without them backfired — and soon “you lying a** bitch” Brandon found himself in a precarious situation with Marissa. And it doesn’t look like there will be any more “sexy time” between the two. First, Brandon approached Maria and told her, “You’re looking super sexy with these little pigtail things you got going on.” Maria, not Marissa. But Ma...
