Nichelle Nichols, immortal forever as the original Nyota Uhura of Star Trek, has died at the age of 89. A scandal worthy of Lady Whistledown’s poisoned pen. On Friday, Netflix filed a lawsuit against the creators of The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical for copyright infringement. Statues of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman Unveiled in Albuquerque
Next time you’re in Albuquerque, be on the lookout for statues honoring two of the city’s most notorious drug dealers. On Friday, statues of Breaking Bad characters Walter White and Jesse Pinkman were unveiled at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The bronze sculptures, created by Trevor Grove, were commissioned by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan as a gift to the Albuquerque for serving as the home of Breaking Bad and its prequel series Better Call Saul over the last 15 years. Max Headroom is getting a reboot with a new series in the works for AMC. According to a report by Deadline, the ’80s sci-fi series about the world’s “first computer-generated TV presenter” is being produced by Elijah Wood and Noah Young under their SpectreVision and All3Media banners. Christopher Cantwell, who previously helmed AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire, has signed on to both run and write for the show.
