With two of the four fashion weeks under our belts, it’s finally time for Milan Fashion Week. At each stop on the mammoth journey, the four cities offer up a unique feel. New York kicked off with a cacophony of colour, whilst London showcased the very best of pleats and prints. But the Italian city demands an elevated style that’s reflective of the luxury brands that have come out of it. Think heritage brands like Gucci and Prada alongside modern (but still elegant) counterparts like Bottega Veneta.
As the fashion crowd swarmed the city, darting from show to show, we took in the outfits of the fashionable attendees. In due course, we’ll come to the important trends that appeared on the Milanese runways, but for now, here are the nine street style trends that stood out at Milan Fashion Week.
